I may have missed some information amidst all the doom and gloom. When Chilwell came on for Amartey did we still have a back four or change to a back three.

To be honest I don’t know for sure. And I don’t think the players knew either seeing as they were all over the place.

We switched to a back three of Morgan, Maguire and Fuchs, with Albrighton and Chilwell as wing backs. We then later pushed Chilwell forward, put ****s at left back again and moved Albrighton to right back, when we switched back to a back four, in the second half.

We seem all over the place at the moment. Other than KS in goal and Vardy up front, it can otherwise seem pretty free format. I'm not sure if that's sort of the plan or just how it ends up.

As an aside to the dreadful performace - what on earth is going on with Kasper Schmeichel?

I’ll admit to never having been a massive fan. His distribution is crap, he doesn’t command his area and he’s suspect from range. I’ve overlooked these somewhat because he is an excellent shot stopper, has been a big game player for us and also because I don’t think there are better options outside of the big clubs.

But recently he appears to have added fortnightly mental breakdowns to his performances. He’s always been mouthy but in recent weeks he has screamed at the bench for an extended period seemingly for not being allowed to go up for corners, spent numerous periods jumping about and shouting to himself and, today, at least a couple of times running up the pitch to bellow at the referee.

I’ve always thought he comes across as a bit of a knob and in recent weeks he seems to be doing his best to convert others to that view.
It's a pity because if he'd spent more time watching the game he might have picked up a few tips from the B'mouth goalie on how to command his area - I think he gathered or punched the ball away on 11 of the 13 corners - we were never going to score from them - fortunately for us, no goalie would have had a chance against Mahrez's brilliant swerving free kick

The reason he gathered the ball from our corners was mostly because of our ineptitude at both taking the corner and our movement inside the box.

From the BBC match report:

"The Cherries could have had a chance to double their lead shortly after the break, when Charlie Daniels appeared to be pulled down in the box by Wilfred N'didi."

Unbelievable.

I took my Kindle to the match today. Never done that before but I thought I might want to entertain myself. I didn't read it only because my hands were too cold.

Fecking shite game again. Puel began with a peculiar 4-1-4-1 formation (Man City is wasn't) and I spent the first 20 mins mystified by it. How can we be so defensively minded at home to Bournemouth I thought again and again . . .

When Amartey goes off, he changes to a 3-5-1-1 formation. This was closer to something interesting but his instructions to his players were completely absent. At one point Maguire had his arms out shouting at his manager for some idea of who was supposed to be where. In particular, Albrighton and Silva were both hung out to dry by their manager.

Yes, several players were poor today but none get any blame from me. They were given no chance by their manager so made it up as they went along themselves. It was bizarre. Those players have no respect for their manager.

I just hope it's a little warmer next time so I can occupy myself whilst the inane drivel goes on.
So why don't you and your kindle just stay at home and write a match report afterwards.
It might even be a bit more positive than the dioreah you often come out with

Having read some of the comments on here, I have 1 question.
Are Leicester city supporters becoming the most conceited bunch of ######?

Not sure I understand.

Stop being facetious or pedantic.( whichever applies to you)
Let me put it in layman's terms
Since we won the league, many so called fans , believe we should be steamrolling over so called lesser teams because we are the mighty Leicester City that won the Premier league.
Ask Blackburn how that one worked out.
