I think I’ve reached the point where I refuse to believe anything that’s said about this.

If it happens, it happens. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t. All/some of this stuff could be bullshit, or it could be baseless speculation.

Mahrez withdrew his transfer request a few weeks ago. Why would he do that if it wasn't so he could get his "loyalty" bonus.?

He officially removed his transfer request, despite still being desperate to leave. Only one reason for that. Loyalty Bonus.
