That theory doesn't work if you look at his 2 defensive partners last moves. He'll be gone soon enough.

I see Vardy didn't have his kit on during the after match celebrations so his injury is obviously still an issue. So will the Semi be too early for him to come on, as there's no way he'll start.

Do they? They don't really need Mahrez but that seems to be a possibility. Both club and manager only know buying success so it wouldn't surprise me if they spunked a fortune on bulking up an already very good squad. The likes of Liverpool could do with a defender and have paid big before. If he keeps performances up he'd be mad to stay with us if offers start coming in.

Do you think many clubs sign players for decent money and tell them that? He could easily sign for someone thinking he'll play every game and then see the reality. He'd easily start every game for someone like Liverpool or L'Arse anyway.

Liverpool spent big on VVD because they had the Coutinho money they don't spend that big normally and Arsenal almost never do and certainly not on defenders.

I'd be worried about United but not sure what Jose would make of a defender like him

£140m? Based on the amount that they're paying for Mahrez, I doubt whether the scratters would offer more than £20m for Maguire.

Liverpool once spent £35m on Auntie Carol. The VVD money was desperation but if they want to improve they need another defender and keeper. Breaking the bank for those positions wouldn't be stupid for them.

Edit - Arse paid 30 odd million for Xhaka ffs. They've got the money.
