Palace away on 2nd January is looking rather tricky from Leicester on the train. Does anyone suggestion any alterative rail route into London?

Attempted to set up a thread but I was not allowed, this may require the attention of a few.

Why do you think it's tricky?
It looks like a decent service.
I don't see any difficulty. Has the game been moved to 7am?Attempted to set up a thread but I was not allowed, this may require the attention of a few.

Sunday 1 and Monday 2 January
A half-hourly train service will run between London St Pancras International and Bedford. An hourly train service will run between East Midlands Parkway and Derby/Sheffield, and also between East Midlands Parkway and Nottingham.
Buses will replace trains between:
Maybe I am mis-reading it.
- Bedford and East Midlands Parkway (half hourly, direct bus service)
- Bedford and East Midlands Parkway (half hourly, calling at all intermediate stations)
- Bedford and Leicester (hourly, direct bus service)
- Leicester and Loughborough / East Midlands Parkway
:icon_lol: Nice.I love 3-2 games. Just like Blackpool away.
The East Midlands Trains site may have more reliable info.

There are two options. Leicester - Nuneaton, Nuneaton to London, or Leicester to Peterborough, Peterborough to London.
Both routes have replacement buses on them.
