What, the very same one? He's not on our books still is he? I thought he'd gone to Sheffield Utd and was later released?? So a free agent perhaps. Hardly a trialist so somebody at the club must still have his mobile number and asked if he fancied a kickabout. Weird.

He probably asked if he could train with us to help him get fit. I see no harm in that and it will probably benefit the younger players to play some games with him.
He was on trial at Cov recently but decided not to pursue it any further because he thinks he's not fit enough to play at that level.
