I don't think there'll be any surprises in the line-up.

I still think that Slimani should be in but I see no chance of that or any other changes whilst Shakey is in charge.

Before CR was sacked I thought that we'd win this 1-0 and qualify for the last 8. Now I reckon we'll continue the 3-1 run and qualify. Hope so anyway.

id be tempted to keep the same, butid like to see Slimani Armarty Wague given some playing time. Tough game this, id settle for a 5-4 win on pens

I think Wague will still be out. Dislocated shoulders can take up to 4 months to recover from apparently, less if you've suffered them before as Wague has...

...but to me the game seems ages away.

Are my interpretations of the rules correct?

If we win 1-0 at 90 minutes, we go through on away goals role.

2-1 at 90 minutes, 30 minutes extra time, then penalties if still tied.

Sevilla win 3-2 at 90 minutes, they go through on away goals rule.

Correct. Penalties only if it is 2-1 both at FT and after ET. I presume you meant Leicester win 3-2 at 90 mins for the last alternative?

Almost, regardless of the score, if Seville are ahead at the end of 90 minutes they will go through by virtue of the higher score, nothing to do with away goals.

Article 20
Away goals rule, extra time and kicks from the penalty mark

20.01 For matches played under the knockout system, if the two teams involved in a tie score the same number of goals over the two legs, the team which scores more away goals qualifies for the next stage. If this procedure does not produce a result, i.e. if both teams score the same number of goals at home and away, two 15-minute periods of extra time are played at the end of the second leg. If both teams score the same number of goals during extra time, away goals count double (i.e. the visiting team qualifies). If no goals are scored during extra time, kicks from the penalty mark determine which team qualifies for the next stage.

My examples were for the scores to be level at minutes.

we will be along side the greats of europe next week and have no need to fear any of them, sorry still living the dream of last season, but who knows with LCFC. We need a good attacking bench against Seville, I hope we dont rely on merely counter attacking. Press them and keep on pressing, build on our second half performance in Spain and who knows whats in store for us!

And forget the Premier league I think as little as 34 points will keep us up! Three home wins against fellow strugglers should do it.
Always look on the bright side of life. I think Claudio did.

After Arsenal's humiliation tonight it's a tale of two cities as far as premier league participation is concerned

10 to 11???

I watched up until the sending off. Arsenal were giving it everything until then, it was impressive and excellent to watch.

I had the sound off and assumed LK was sent off for arguing. I didn't know cards could be upgraded. A big call.

And they said we would embarrass the English in Europe.

Arsenal are a joke.

I hope that after our game we aren't talking about refereeing decisions. If we get beat fair and square then so be it but I want the ref to be even and honest.

The Athletico Madrid game still rankles.

I hope we're not talking about lack of effort.
