We've won one away!

Mahrez and Huth in the first ten minutes. Lanzini got one back for West Ham before Vardy made it 3-1 for half-time. Ayew made it squeaky on 63 minutes but we hung on.

Huge win. The next two home games are very winnable. If we manage it then we're just about safe. Imagine being in that position before we face Atletico?

I missed the first half - the best bit I presume?
The most pleasing aspect for me was the absolute massive guts and determination that we've shown, when quite clearly we were completely knackered.

I reckon I've aged. I really didn't think we'd hang on. Kasper's heroics kept us in that. We were dead on our feet at the end, well for the last 20 minutes really.

Two brilliant saves from Kasper against Carroll, absolute fecking class. Huth (apart from losing Carroll for their 2nd goal) was like a rock, Benny was solid. Drinky's determination has suddenly found its grit, Albrighton and Okazaki worked their socks off as usual. Mahrez tracked back quite well. N'didi's timing of his tackles and positional sense was immense. Vardy's hard work and scoring touch is back. Where the **** was this team in the first 20 games?

Our worst player was Okazaki who whilst he ran around well he was on the floor most of the time, lost the ball when he had it and is not a threat. I'll take that though when we're winning.

We watched different games then. I thought Shinji caused them all sorts of problems, including on the first goal in which he dragged the defender across the six yard box leaving the keeper flat footed.

You didn't see Musa give the ball away multiple times with the ball at his feet and you didn't see Slimani miss a chance most Sunday league strikers would tuck away?
