We need to forget all about last night and enjoy our last match of the season.

We'll still be stuck with an improvised defence as neither Huth or Morgan will be fit but hopefully we can add another three points to the tally.

Lets just hope we don't concede first given this abysmal stat ...

Anything but a home win against Bournemouth is bad. Only a win can give us a top half finish.

Think'd I'd make a point of dropping both CB's from last night as Benny was shite and Fuchs looked to have given up, give Elliot Moore a debut and play either Wasyl or a fit Huth/Morgan next to him.

to get our best players in we needa change of formation but there is no way Shakey will do that

Kasper (or Zieler if Kasper needs to get off to Manchester for an interview)

Albrighton
Huth (Wasyl if not)
Amartey
Chilwell

Ndidi

Kapustka
Gray
Musa

Vardy
Slimani

If Shakey decides he wants 3 CBs then play Elliot Moore and move Musa to the bench.

Let Mahrez pop over to Madrid to get the feel of Spain (again) and maybe discuss whether AM can afford to have Vardy turn them down after they make their offer public. Let Fuchs go to the States to discuss a NY clothes deal, Simpson chat up the birds in Benidorm, Wes talk to the doctors about bionic replacement parts, Benni can look to buy an on pitch GPS, King can start looking over retirement homes in Bournemouth and Shinji sound out a part in the next colgate ad.

I just want us to win this and be equal or better to worse than Chelsea's defence last year. That would avoid the 'since football was invented' worst top flight defence of the title honour.

So no messing around please.

All the players who know this is there last game for us should be allowed to say their goodbyes eg Wasyl possibly Mayrez Ulloa
No harm in starting Elliott Moore preferrably alongside Huth or Morgan
After the last performance its a case of "give the same players a cance to put right" or start Gray Slimani King
Whatever the starting 11 we can finish the season with 3 points and jump above thee in the league, i think 2-1 Vardy King

I think 9-2 Vardy 5, Mahrez, Gray, Ndidi, Musa. (I bet you all agreed up until I wrote Musa - just joking Kasper penalty is more likely).

People blaming the two stand in defenders for not being able to stop a rampant Spurs team who had zero midfield to battle with, ludicrous.

Well they were to blame just not solely. Benny needs to take a lot of blame. Fuchs not so much - that's more down to Shakey.

We played a team that are famous for runs from deep and finding space between midfield and forward line. Neither of our central defenders or central midfielders had the faintest idea what to do with this.

Son in particular cannot ever have been as completely ignored by an opposition before. He was never tracked.

Even worse than our shambolic treatment of the opposition was our own idiotic lack of sense about our own side. Spurs were missing their two right backs so played a midfielder in a wing back position (Sissoko). He started the match terribly. He was all over the place. So did we put Mahrez over there or push Vardy out to expose him? Did we feck.

I could go on and on about our tactical stupidity in that match, It could be held up as a masterclass for how not to manage a team. Our preparation for this game was either completely non-existent or incompetent.

Just watched the highlights in full.

**** me....... An absolute abomination where actually the 2 central defenders were on another planet, not helped by a clueless midfield but they simply didn't show any indication they were Premier League defenders.

That was horrible to watch, a total clusterfuck of a display.

I'm going to back Shakey up here. When the only other options are Wasilewski or a kid from the academy, what else could he do? Amartey wasn't an option as we were short on CM's.

I don't blame Fuchs or Shakey for Fuch's poor performance, I blame whoever was responsible for our summer recruitment. All that money spent on strikers, and nothing on defence.

Fuchs who has trouble defending in the position that he has played most of his career was a terrible choice to move to CB, make all the excuses that you want for Shakey but you won't convince me. Was is a true CB and leader, he would never have allowed a stiker to score 4 goals, he would have crippled them first. We also have a "reserve" side which has natural CBs, what is the point of a developmental team if you are not going to give them a chance in a relatively meaningless game when no other true option exists. This match was made for Elliot to show what he can do and leave the season feeling that tthe opportunity to break into the first team is there for next season if he puts the off-season work in.

Amartey was certainly an option and really should have been first choice before Benny, we have other players who can play in midfield. Amartey could be the answer to our CB problems next season and now would be a good time to see if that's the case. He isn't an RB that's for sure and he's below ****ing Andy King in Shakey's list of midfielders.

I really rate Amartey going forward (along with Chilwell, Ndidi, Gray etc... we have an exciting young core) but if I were him I'd leave for first team football in the summer. Behind Andy King OMG.

I don't

One of the glaringly obvious issues with this side is that they are woeful through the middle in an attacking sense.

Our only approach to play is wack it wide and hope. We dont ask the opponent any issues through the centre at all, hence Spurs defending so far up the pitch they didnt have a back line, it was embarrassing how we didnt exploit the gaping gaps that were there.

I habe an issue with how we play now, mainly because we dont actually have a style when in possession of the ball.

In my opinion we need to change formation as this current setup is weak and obvious.

When I said "going forward" I meant next season and beyond - not in an attacking sense.

If I could go back in time and choose the team again, even knowing what we know, I still wouldn't have played Was. Total liability and an absolute oaf.

This is a game we should play our strongest team, not the team we might have in 18 months time.

Big Was and Benny for the CBs with Simpson and Fuchs either side. Chilwell and Albrighton running as wing-backs with N'Didi, Mahrez and Okazaki causing mayhem in the middle and feeding to Vardy.
