people keep looking at the first 5 games but not what happened after, it seems like it was the new manager bounce, he has shown no tactical nouse to change things other than in desperation when losing and seemed totally unable to either get Mahrez playing or have the balls to drop him
10 games that included two against Atletico Madrid, and games against four of the top 7, three of them away from home.
In the last 13 games of the season, the period when Shakespeare was in charge, we got 23 points. A league table for the last 13 games would have us in sixth place.

It seems like it was a run of relatively easy games, followed by a run of difficult games.

I wonder how the 1-6 thrashing we experienced has been a factor in people's opinions? It certainly made me think a little. And then the uncertainty of summer signings. He has no record there for us to judge, so it's a bit of a leap of faith. And I'm not sure I have that faith.

As long as Shakey has got Turkey Twizzlers back on the menu and copious amounts of Port and Red Bull to keep Vardy pumped up, we will be fine.

Definitely. Spurs are simply a better team than us, with a better manager and players. Bournemouth are a championship outfit without King yet our first half display and inability to win in the second half was totally embarrassing. Before the Watford game people were telling me that Bournemouth was an even easier fixture than Watford!
It's like losing to Millwall in the Cup.

We thrived on beating the supposed 'bigger teams'
Saying they are difficult is generalist, have a look at the way we approached those games and the answer as to why we lost them all is very apparent.
