He's got skills and desire. I think he can challenge Drinky for his spot, we have 5 or 6 players fighting for the 2 CM spots and another 5 or 6 for the wide midfield spots. We seem pretty solid there now.

no that was Cambiasso, James was in the Kante/NDidi role, when James got injured Andy King partnered Cambiasso and Drinkwater came onto the bench

Matty has been one of my favourites, though I will be on tenterhooks if he does return whether his fragility/ill luck continues to haunt him.

I thought he'd be classed as a box-to-box player, but also with an extra touch of creative class, potentially that is some player we have - hope it all goes well for him next season.

I misread it that he'd called his nipper Jetson James, that would have been really cool - but Jenson's OK, too.

Still can't believe he didn't manage to bag at least one in that first PL season with the chances he had.

Newcastle away sticks in the mind for being the worst!

Agree that he was a really good player then and hopefully he can at least get back to the same level.
