Yup, Evans has been part of a decent defence n all. Fair enough it's a 9 man defence but I'd have no issue on signing him. Is he what we'd want this time last year? Nah. Is he better than the shite we've seen this season? Aye

It's not where we should have been if we'd demonstrated a bit of vision and upscaled the management. Given that we've set our stall out for more of the same, he's now exactly where we are.
 
If we get 2 CB's with PL experience for around £25m then I would class that as good business.


Unfortunately we are Leicester City of pre title stature sgain, better lower our expectations a little.
 
I have no problem with us picking up Maguire as long as we get another CB who is better as well. Maguire will be a good no.3 and challenge for a starting spot but we do need our club captain to be free for media spots and driving the coach.
