There are no wide vertical stripes down the front either, or gold on the shoulders The collars, to my eyes at least, look quite different . But apart from that, yes they are identical. Also, it might just be my eyes, is there more than a touch of brown in the Newcastle strip? Anyways, I rather like our one.

Clubs are now allowed to have tacky adverts on sleeves, and that logo is for a Thai company.

Really like the new away kit. Not happy about the sleeve sponsor though - ruins the look. Think I'll pick it up if I can find one without that....

When you click that tweet, a lot of the replies seem to say it's only on the shirts in the club shop. Not sure if that's the case, but that's what some comments suggest.

I probably worded that badly. The comments were implying that other shops (non LCFC ones), wouldn't have the badges. As I say, no idea if that's true, though.

The sleeve sponsor thing just looks like it's been slapped on with no thought to the design. The main sponsor doesn't look out of place.

And it's on the chest, which we have got used to over the last 35 or so years. Horrific sleeve and all over the kit sponsors are for Scandinavian teams.
