Grumpy old man time They had cheerleaders at half time. It should be pointed out that the club totally ignore that there is a Leicester City Ladies football team. Now I am all in favour of pretty ladies but I find cheerleading repulsive - like synchronized swimming without the water. Football is about struggle. It is a fierce pleasure not the place for jumping up and down with inane grins. They tried cheerleaders in the 1970s and the fans chanted "Get off the effing pitch" which I feel is a far better attitude

No. Confusing is that Arsenal Ladies have been renamed Arsenal Women but will be known simply as Arsenal with Arsenal Women used only when there is a need to differentiate them from the men's team.
