I remember my first ever match at Filbert Street at the start of the 1963/64 season City 7 Arsenal 2
Their goalie went off and Joe Baker went in goal, not sure about the substitute situation in them days or who scored our goals, but we went top of the league.

My first ever match was also City vs Arsenal at Filbert Street (a long time after yours though!). We lost 3-0 and Giles Grimandi scored...
