I'll be really interested to see how he gets on at Chelsea. He seems to be so flawed as as player and as a person. How will he cope without his clique and having to stand up on his own merits?

He was great when the going was good and toxic when it was not. He hid when we needed him most and yet also created some of my best memories as a City fan.

If I were a bigger person, I'd want him to go on and succeed. But I'm not. I want him to crash and burn.

Good luck Danny, I dont think we will miss him much, and I'm not sure Chelsea is the right move for him, strange one.

Deal of the window. £35m for Carol is a piece of business. Enjoy the cash.

I don't particularly hope he fails, but I can't see him breaking through there, I can only guess he was their second or third choice as cover, we screwed them with the price because they were desperate.

He will be surplus to requirements in January when they sign someone they really want, can't help feeling he has made a big mistake.

He's a good player. He did some great things with us. He isn't/wasn't as important to us Vardy, Mahrez and Kante. Even in today's market, £35m is a huge amount of money for him. It's also (presumably) a nice contract for him to get at his age, as he probably wouldn't get this opportunity again.

For me, he'll always be a big part in a special time, but he's gone and it doesn't feel like we've lost an irreplaceable player, so I'm fine with that.

Onwards and upwards/downwards (depending on your viewpoint).

I know I'm not the only one here who thought this was a right pile of old bullshit when Chelsea's interest was first announced. I actually laughed out loud when I read it. I thought it was about as likely as me getting a blow job off Rachel Riley. Shows what I know. Chelsea must be ****ing desperate & the number of players that have turned them down this window supports that (the Barkley comedy show is just ****ing brilliant)

£35,000,000 for Danny D...Jesus!

Just actually think about that for a second.

I just wish I'd had a spread bet on his eventual transfer fee a couple of years back. I'd be booking my flight to the South Seas right about now to do some house hunting.

Think his time had come to leave us.
One of many cogs in a well oiled machine that took us to unprecedented heights, but also another that has tarnished his legacy through last season's performance.
I personally got pissed off with the number of times he'd come back to take the ball off the defence, only to give the defender the ball back.
Thanks for the memories Danny, whilst I wish you all the best (apart from when you play (!) Us) I can't help feeling you'll be Chelseas Delph

We move On, Next?
