Looks like we have 2 new WAG's to appreciate, and shortly we'll be losing one to the Jungle, so it's rumoured. Although we will see her in that shower in the jungle no doubt.

Two good points made in today's Sunday Times:

1) Under window "winners" - Leicester City - £35m for Drinkwater but they held on to Mahrez, and recruited Maguire, Iheanacho, Dragovic, Silva and Iborra for a net spend of less than Brighton. Imagine if they'd had a similar window last year?

2) The more the window went crazy, the more Maguire for £12m (rising to £16m) seemed like an island of sanity and good business.

Assuming Silva can't play for us until January, I expect we'll want to sign a free agent to add to the numbers in midfield.

Really, who's available that'd be anything better than we have? Can we sign a free from abroad? Or will FIFA have to ok that as well?

Maybe we can't get someone better than what we have. But it only needs a couple of injuries/suspensions and we're ****ed. We should be trying to sign someone just in case.
We can sign a free agent from abroad. It would still have to be cleared, but there would be no deadline to miss.

At the minute, we're in no different a position (in CM) as before the window. Drinkwater was injured, so not available. Presumably, at some point, Iborra will be fit and be an extra option. Silva will sign, even if it is only in January, but unless there was an outstanding free agent, I don't see why we'd sign someone else.

Maybe a free agent is workable, just as cover. I honestly didn't realise that there'd be decent-ish players available. After all, one of our band of brothers was a free!
