What concerns me the most is that it took an injury for our 1st assistant manager to take Ulloa off.

He couldn't have been less aware of what was needed if he was blind.
I was surprised that Ulloa wasn't subbed at half time. He was bad!

From the Guardian's Fiver:

Leicester City coming out on top against Liverpool is still, even to this day, reported in some quarters of the media as something of a surprise. The Fiver isn’t exactly sure why. The Foxes have been a thorn in Liverpool’s side, a maybe-it’s-time-to-start-cutting-down-on-the-steak-and-blue-cheese-sliders-for-breakfast pain in the hole, for more than half a century now. Consider: Leicester bundled Bill Shankly’s side out of the FA Cup a couple of times in the 60s; kept beating the Reds in the league during the 70s; ended their three-year, 85-match unbeaten home run in the 80s; kept beating the Reds in the league during the 90s; and have a habit of repeatedly beating them in the new millennium. They were reigning champions of England just a few months ago, and if Big Cup is the definitive modern metric, which everyone keeps insisting it is, were the joint-fifth best team in Europe just last April. Liverpool, by contrast, last had something to celebrate in … well, let’s not kick people while they’re down. You get the general gist.

Some flesh on the bones:

You are right Miles. BMs post was truly terrible. Indeed BM gets affronted by my posts so often I am surprised he does not put me on Ignore.
I, of course, regard both you and BM (and Mr Choudhury) with unconditional regard. :)
You might be surprised to learn that outside of the snobbery and racism I am often amused and occasionally entertained by your extensive bloviations. Perhaps if you adjust the style of your posts to exclude these, I could view your overall contributions with considerably less disdain.

Except it was Alistair Brown with the goal I believe.

Ooo-lay ooo-lay didn't start playing at all regularly until the following season and did not play in this game.Neither was there any thought of anybody rowing a boat ashore. Andy Lochead got the goal

Disdain seems a churlish response to unconditional regard. .

Did anybody else notice the behaviour of Jurgen Klopp on Tuesday? His body language was wonderful. He began the match irritated and became progressively more frustrated at his team. I hope to see him repeat the performance on Saturday.
