His antics off the field were embarrassing for the club. Anyone could see that surely to goodness? We played some dreadful football under Pearson, much worse at times than what we've seen under CS this year (not including that shitfest at Bournemouth) and worse still than the absolute dross served up at the beginning of last season that many people have now conveniently forgotten.
Going back to Pearson would be akin to having another one night stand with the same girl who gave you herpes.
Oh but the sex was good?

You have a very poor memory. There were a few games in the Premier League survival season that were dreadful, but nothing to the levels of the shit served up for the first two thirds of last season, and definitely nothing compared to the shitfest that has been this season.
If you could choose one manager - Shakespeare or Pearson - who would you choose?
There really is only one answer to that question - unless you either chew crayons or wear a strait jacket.
I do both. A carer feeds me the crayons.

We were shit for the majority of that season and laughably so which is why we were rock ****ing bottom for most of it.
Do I have to choose between CS or Pearson? That's not really the option is it? If you want an answer to the arbitrary question then I would take CS over NP at the moment. Not because I think he is any better at present, I haven't seen enough of CS to make that decision, but because Pearson has proved himself to be unfit for Premier League management in numerous ways. CS may well do the same of course but at least the jury is still out. With NP they've considered their verdict, committed him the Broadmoor and sold their stories to the press.

Getting a newly promoted team to finish 14th having spent little, whilst playing a major part in laying the foundations for our title winning season.
Wow I wonder what it would take for a manager to be fit for Premier League management in your surreal world.

Short memories on here. Possibly overshadowed by Ranieri.
However for me Pearson has progressed us more than any manager I've seen here (I've been following for 10 years)
Ranieri did a great job, but it was one season, and when he tried progressing us, it didn't work.
Pearson, for all his failures, progressed us as a club out of league one. Then again out of the championship. Then again to survive in the league.
Let it sink in that it was his first season managing in the premier league. Why, with hindsight, did we expect him to win more in the league with an unproven Vardy, Leo Ulloa and Nugent who had known shortcomings? He made a good signing in Huth that might have saved his job, and certainly helped save us. His team deserve credit for that - not lambasting for having a poor(ish) half season until then.
Remember we didn't ever really get battered that season. You might notice Huddersfield have just been stuffed by Spurs. Brighton totally outclassed by Man City.

It didn't end well but every time he's managed us we've gone forward over the course of it.
