correct yet if you suggest dropping one of them people lose their mind, people have a panic attack at the mere suggestion of not playing Wes Morgan for example

In the TV matches I have seen, Morgan has played well, and at times as well as two seasons ago.

You cannot 'fluke' winning the PL by 10 points over 38 matches, without all the players playing exceptionally well.

Most of them are still very good players so they should not automatically be dumped just because we are two years further down the line.

Maguire for instance is an excellent addition as a CB and hopefully will eventually become the first choice for when either Huth or Morgan slow down too much, but he is not hugely better than them yet.

Who said we should dump them because we are 2 years down the line?

I'd dump them because they obviously don't have the same desire, energy or attitude.

This is backed up by our pathetic performances and terrible results over this period.

Do we just wait for the old guard to give a **** again?

I don't include Morgan in this.

I recall that people have made what seems to be the key point before - these guys achieved the 'impossible' and didn't believe collectively or individually they could ever do it again - or in Mahrez and Kante's cases didn't believe they could do it again with Leicester. Ranieri was flogging a dead horse. What was needed was the imagination to make bold decisions which would have been amazingly difficult in the circumstances of having just won the title. But there is less excuse now. Irrespective of to-night's result it is more than obvious that big changes are now needed if there is to be any chance of getting the club moving forward again.

they might well be still good players but for well over a year they haven't performed as a collective, so some of them need to be dumped to break up the cartel, to remind the players they do not run the team and TO TRY TO WIN SOME GAMES AS THIS LOT ARE NOT DOING THAT

I'm incredibly torn. In a way that I never imagined I would be again. My natural instinct is to want my team to win every game they play..BUT I really genuinely do believe that the club is in a horrific spiral that needs to be arrested immediately. The whole setup stinks of desperation, apathy & incompetence in equal measures. It needs to be turned upside down & inside out right now or we're on the way to becoming Sunderland. I really can't believe I'm feeling this way so soon after we achieved the footballing equivalent of Nirvana. I thought those days were gone forever. But now here I am feeling the same way that I did when that pointless ****nugget Bassett was in charge. For the first time in my life I actually wanted us to be awful & lose every week just so that the club would have no choice but to radically change something. Anything. I didn't even feel that way during the miserable Pleat years. Just baffled at how he kept turning up as our manager every season.I didn't feel it under Allen,Megson or Holloway either. Not even after that soul crushing day at Stoke. In all those cases it somehow seemed a bit inevitable due to the financial circumstances. I certainly never thought I'd be feeling it this soon after the miracle season that transformed us from **** all into one of the top 8 teams in frigging Europe! But here I am...half of me still urging them on for the win. The other half kind of wishing they lose 5 on the spin & don't play well in any of them just so that some ****er finally decides enough is enough & clears out every negative influence in January. Long term is what counts. I will gladly endure anger & frustration from tonight til Xmas in order to feel new hope in May.

He shoukd be gone before he gets to the press conference

That is the final straw for me, that was woeful, lack of intensity, minimal quality and when faced with a reserve keeper restricted to one leg, we didn't go for the throat, we should have bombarded him with shots and crosses and instead we played pretty much the same way.

He is so far out of his depth, this is so poor and reminiscent of last season when Ranieri was shown the door, now is the time to put this experiment to bed and go out and bring in a manager who will re-ignite this club, stay as we are and we will sleepwalk our way back to mediocrity.

Not good enough waits until losing to change its the same every game get rid before we’re in real trouble

Perhaps someone will find one of Claudio's bells he bought them. Then someone can crack one over Shakeys head before we slump too much in games.

Stood there with a pen and paper looking like a prise pillock, whilst the team ****ed around like a bunch of arseholes.

Utterly bewildering g stuff for 75 minutes.

Even then it took another 7 or 8 minutes of the game drifting. We were 1-0 down and all of the subs were happily sat down keeping warm under their blankets.

We have now won 1 in 11.

How is there even a debate on whether we need a change, it's pathetic.

On RL after the game he said something along the lines of 'they were good at passing the ball quickly in training but it's not an exact science on match day'.

Good to know he can oversee a cracking game of two touch with the lads.

He's not good enough. I see why he was hired, given his points tally at last season, but now it's clear he needs to go.

I was very jealous of the appointment of Silva at Watford and looks like I was proved right so far. At Hull it was a big ask, he didn't have a great team but they they improved massively and you could see what he was doing football wise.

We need a well-respected, tactically astute, hungry and ballsy manager to replace CS asap.

After 15/16 I really thought we'd push on. We still can imo with a current appointment.
