I really want to see George Thomas involved, the way he is playing for the U23s should be rewarded.

Give Wilf a rest, put Amartey alongside Iborra. Try 3 at the back, Morgan, Maguire and Dragon.
Thomas has got to be worth a start as is Ian. Chilli to the left and maybe Johnson on the right. Give Gray a free role.

A game which would allow an experiment in formation ie Drogovic Gray come into team. We must however pick a strong enough team to get through, i think we will 2-1 Slimani King

Very much so.

I'm no fan of this competition but its our best chance of winning anything. Also top two tier clubs play 'weakened' sides in this competition and it's unnecessary and has gone silly.

I'd play our strongest side available - but obviously this won't happen and now he's decided to play properly again someone like Mahrez could be rested before he decides he doesn't want to play properly again.

Rest Ndidi, Mahrez, and Vardy only, bringing in King, Gray and Iheanacho. Possibly Thomas and Choudry on the bench.

Yes Iheanacho has to play - possibly as part of a strategy to clinch Man City coming back to exercise their £50m buy out card rights. Presumably another of Rudkin's masterstrokes. Ulloa might also merit a place on the bench providing he hasn't retired from football following his well earned contract extension.
 
Wonder if Applebaum will continue to utilise the genius of Shakespeare and go with the dynamic front line of Ulloa and Slimani?

Leeds have a massive game in the Championship on Friday night, playing Sheffield United at home - I'd be amazed if they don't play a side full of reserves

It's a massive opportunity to get to a quarter final, and beyond

If we fook this one up, they all need shooting
