Agree, it was very enjoyable - but that is when we had Kante doing everyone else job for them and the mighty Huth helping Morgan clear out the corners

That would be great and a brave move from Mr Poo. Fingers crossed we see it happen without him being binned for upsetting them.
 
Managers are becoming meaningless.

I would imagine we will be seeing them replaced by computers before long, especially if they are no longer responsible for motivating players.

The Watford board have an interesting view on managers, they don't have the manager as the most pivotal person in the process, which seems to be why even through changing managers, they're doing rather well.

That model makes sense for every mid-table prem club.

They already have a better suggestion over at FT apparently.

 
I think he will be a decent appointment and the right man at the right time, it is clear we are going to go through something of a transition over the next 12 months including a number of the title winners moving on, he demonstrated at Southampton he could handle losing key players and still managed to create a competitive side that finished 8th and got to a cup final.

I see us going through similar and he will be key in ensuring we remain a competitive premiership outfit through this transition.
