Serious question as I don’t get to many games due to family and distance but:

I watched the game yesterday on the box and thought Vardy had a very good game, others have posted that he was poor (lazy), does TV give a better perspective than actually being at the match?

Lako generally makes good posts and I generally agree with most of the content but he didn’t rate Vardy well during the game.

I don’t think that this is due to Lako being an arsehole? ;)o_O

I think he is just used to the balls being played earlier and from further back and so was going too early. He will adapt to us having an extra pass or two though I'm sure.

Vardy doesn't bust a gut for 90 minutes as he once used to. He's gotten a bit clever. I think he changed under CR's guidance.

So I guess it's possible that he now looks to some as if he's not putting in the effort. I personally don't think that's the case and I don't think he was work shy yesterday.

He's just plain wrong. I was there and Vardy was excellent. The effort he puts in is just astonishing.

Also, nice one Gray for sticking it to those in the match thread who thought he shouldn't be playing. I look forward to the lad being given an actual opportunity and not 10 minutes here and there
Yes he played really well Gray's issue is can he remain consistent?
I hope he continues to stick two fingers up and performs like that we will see.

He scores goals regularly. It's sort of incredible how consistent a goalscorer he has become.
Agreed he is an exceptional talent sad he was not discovered earlier! pretty sure he is up there with goals per chance ratio the amount of graft he does for the side goes unnoticed.

The Guardian this morning is suggesting that Grey should be in the England squad by the end of the season...

Bit early for that needs to be more consistent but I felt he produced a better all round performance yesterday and he impressed the fox whisperer.

We take him and his goals for granted.

It's remarkably easy to forget what it's like to be a premier league team without a goalscorer.

I think he's the best we've seen since Lineker.
Everton gave us a reminder yesterday

Couldn't agree more. I thought he was excellent yesterday and did exactly the job he was given. More of the same and he will be up near the top of the goal scoring list all season.

When suffering through England performances really I’ve often felt that if Gray started performing he would add a bit of inspiration to that team. A low bar I know.

Absolutely. He’s the talisman of the team, scores goals against ‘big clubs’ and small and that is priceless.
