As long as Vardy is established as the main point of our attack, there isn't much space for Musa or Slimani certainly in terms of starts. Musa has done nothing to press his case; Slimani is quite productive given his limited opportunities. Ulloa is effectively in retirement and presumably given up on playing and willing to just let the money accrue. Can't blame him but hell knows what it's all about. Matty James nailed on for a key role in the 'great lads' team - not sure what league they play in.

Some people think the Club are nuts to give him a new contract, but I very much expect that it is not the £100,000 a week that Vardy, Mahrez and Schmeichel are on.

It may well be very modest indeed recognising him as just a backup squad player.

I agree our central midfield was weaker when it went from Ndidi/James to Ndidi/King, but I’d say that says more about how shit King is rather than how good James is.

But that completely changed when Iborra came in.
