A midweek fixture ‘under the lights’ which traditionally we have performed well in.

Last seasons reverse didn’t happen so what do we think the result will be tomorrow?

Living down in London and next to a Spurs fan is not ideal unless we put in a very good performance and take the three points.

Spurs have dipped a bit and we could do with a performance tomorrow ahead of overachieving Burnley.

This has goals written all over it so 0-0 it is...
 
As in every other game against the top six, we'll get beaten.

We give them too much respect and don't have the attitude that we can beat any team at this moment in time.

Huddersfield lost yesterday but they showed more heart and fight than we did against city because they believed they could upset them.

They closed down all over the pitch whereas we stood off them and let them play, we'll probably show the same mentality tomorrow.
 
Well I will be there cheering us on from the stands, as ever, but carrying with me a fair degree of expectation that we are going to get absolutely thrashed

My only comfort is the fact that it can't possibly be as bad as last time

Plus, if it is somehow as bad as that complete shitfest back in May, then we can at least all use the word 'transition' as many times as we possibly can in the post match thread as an excuse
 
It depends how many times Mahrez gives the ball away.
 
They are on the verge of giving up on the title, we can rubber stamp it. Id like to see a couple of team changes, Chilwell for Fuchs and a chance for Ieanacho or Slimani to partner Vardy, i think we can nick this 2-1 Vardy Iborra
 
I'm really expecting revenge after last seasons debacle, the players owe it to themselves and dare I say the fans. We are making steady progress up the table, largely due to the poor teams around us, but also due to the quality of our squad. We should soon be challenging for a top eight spot.
Three points tomorrow are within our reach, but we need to tighten the defence, especially from set pieces, press them a lot more in midfield, and hopefully work on an alternative to Vardy having it all on his own up front.
We are hopefully (as in the past) working on a partner for Vardy, whoever that may be and preparing the midfield to provide them with the type of service they need. Three candidates have already been mentioned in the thread, we also have Musa and Ulloa.
Unfortunately that magic relationship has largely failed to materialise so I hope CP is working on an alternative strategy which may mean trying a setup without Vardy. 3-1 to City.
 
Get Shinji in the team for this one.

Players should be well up for this after being humiliated at the end of last year.
 
I may be somewhat old fashioned, but my minimum expectation is two yellow cards for our players in the first ten minutes for kicking that slimy twat Kane up in the air.

A powder puff defeat is inevitable so that's all I've got to hope for.
 
Press from the front, have a right good go and lose 3-2.
Sit back and attempt to hold tight, get battered 4-1.
I expect the latter.

Kane has been named on the shortlist for BBC sports personality of the year
 
Don't think we have the mental attitude or skills set to capitalise on better possession at the moment needed to beat top six sides home or away.Club has deteriorated further than we probably want to accept. Puel has big job to do in getting us moving forward again. Sad how this has been allowed to happen. OTT contracts for players left with a sense of nothing much more to achieve; group of players took over the agenda; Ranieri undermined and position impossible; players pet installed; several appalling transfer dealings; inevitable collapse and pet put down. Long road back now.

Looking for a decent performance - not expecting anything better tonight but hope to be proved wrong. A drew would be excellent.

Agree with your summary.
All the more reason that we fans, should get behind the new incumbent and stop looking for any excuse to deride him.
