Or probably means we have a great deal of common sense. Our best player by a country mile does not want to get crocked playing against Fleetwood (all due respect).

Our best player by a country mile should be on the bench as back up just in case we look like embarrassing ourselves. Especially as Vardy isn’t on there.

Who do we have on the bench to change the game should we need to?

Why? If we can't beat Fleetwood without having to call upon Mahrez then something is most seriously wrong. Hopefully he is happy not to be involved and is sunning himself on a beach somewhere. Why are people putting 2 and 2 together to create 5? By keeping Mahrez happy, we have a better chance of him staying.

Like most on here, Puel has underestimated these. They’re a professional League One club, not a team of teachers and postmen.

I just hope it doesn’t lead to egg on our faces.
 
Mahrez plays on a crap pitch, hurts his spindly little left leg and everyone is displayed that we sent the crown jewells to play at Fleetwood.

I hope he's in Paris right now with family getting some R&R after a gruelling month of football.
 
Doubt if Liverpool consider Ye olde FA Cup important enough to be that bothered about him being cup tied - sounds a very dated idea.
 
Mahrez not being involved has **** all to do with any potential move or not. As has been said, it’s a strong team who should be more than capable of winning without him. Sensible decision to rest him. We have enough in the starting 11 to win and the likes of Albrighton and Okazaki and even Ihenacho could easily come on and change things if needed.

If he was “rested” for an important league game that is fuel for speculation but not today.

Looking forward to seeing Silva and Barnes.

You realise that League One is two divisions below where we are, don't you?

Look, there is always a chance any League One team could beat any Premier League team such as Milwall did to us last year but the odds are against it. Playing the odds is sensible when you've just had a ridiculous run of games such as ours.
