One of my favourite goals, in the title winning season, was his against Everton. It summed up the whole journey that we’d been on, for him to score in that match.

I totally agree with Skitzo, he has earned the right to do what he wants, for me.

Simply by his unique title-winning record and a huge dollop of wobbly-lower lipped sentimentality, Andy is already one of City's immortals.

Casting that aside, along with Shinji and yes, Leo, he's someone who comes on off the bench and does the job he's presumably been told to do by the management, rather than charge around like a panic-stricken headless chicken.
 
Andy King is like your favourite old armchair. You may not use it all the time, indeed you may sometimes even forget it's there, but it's a part of your life and you'll miss it immensely when it's gone. There will always be good memories.

And you don't say that about most other players that have passed through our ranks.

Shinji should not be on that list.

He is vastly underrated and undervalued as a city player.
 
Who will get the blame if he goes though??

I guess we still have Fuchs though.
 
I think there's more chance of And E King staying on in an ambassadorial/coaching roll than going somewhere like Brighton, but what do I know? I've never spoken to the bloke.

How much longer is his playing contract? (probably about another 7 years, the way contract extensions have been going recently)

Went off to sleep last night thinking 'I wonder whether Chelsea will come in for Slimani? Then I thought 'nah, don't be ridiculous'.
 
The amount of goals he'd score for them would be obscene
 
If he hadn’t signed for us and Chelsea had spent £30m on a Sporting striker who had done well in Portugal we’d probably have not thought anything of it.
