Hi, Would like to hear people's opinions on what Leicester does to make them proud.I recall reading a book called "The Great Divide" it covered the rivalry of Spurs & Arsenal.l recall a passage that stated,"Leicester were too fan Friendly in the eyes of the Premier League" Do you agree? What makes us different?

I do think 'Leicester Pride' comes with time. I've been supporting Leicester for about thirty years and I'd say 20 of those have been a struggle. But you carry on, you have your days, yours weeks (and sometimes your years!) when support for them is a real struggle. I've never professed to know a lot about football, but I know it makes me happy. I enjoy. But, you stake your claim, and you stick with it, through thick and (2/3rds thin). But every once in a while, there is something about City where the absolutely magnificent happens. That game that brings a tear to your eye, and we all know now, that season that is so utterly incredible that you can't imagine supporting any other team would satiate that feeling. I think I am lucky. I am a designer who has collected Leicester memorabilia for all these years and a complete hoarder. When I want to feel happy I go into my man cave and immerse myself in the glory I have collected and the memories I can never give to anyone else. Am I proud? Too ****ing right!

We are never grey. We repel mediocrity. We are lows (mostly) mixed with amazing highs.

Overall it is our belonging in the top two tiers (bar one season) that sets us apart from most and allows us to sit (historically) at the far end of the top table on a chair with a broken leg - we are never stable or rest on our laurels.

We (generally) never give in ‘foxes never quit’ and very very occasionally we do something that 80+ other teams will never do.

We support our club in spite of its mediocrity not because it is fashionable and for the most part a right ball ache.

We follow them through thin, thin and more thin and when the high arrives it is orgasmic as we see it so infrequently.

Someone asked me if I wished we would win the league again - I am still unsure whether I want us to, if that makes sense?

I have been following Leicester since 2007,my brother is the reason l started following Leicester. I was lost in regards to Football as l had falling out of love with the way the game was heading. Our first game was the 6th of May 2007 against Wolves at the Walkers. We got thumped, but the experience left me wanting more.We became season ticket holders for the next Couple of Seasons. We took the lumps and debated many a game as we flew back across the Irish Sea. Relegation never hit me that hard as l believed we would come straight back up. One memory l have till the day l die is the away game against Tranmere Mid-week.We got beat but the bus trip was to open my eyes.A brick comes through the Window of the Bus we are on as we leave Tranmere,a Woman sitting across from me with here Husband suffered the brunt of the shattered window.l looked on in amazment as they pulled the Curtains tight to try keep out the Cold night.l asked the couple to exchange seats but that Woman looked me in the eye with a determination l will never forget and said "no son we will be fine" l knew in that moment we were going up ! Leicester People never ceases to amaze me.Leicester tough is a site to behold

Do we have the best owners in the way they thank the fans for their support?

What are you digging at?
My question relates to free beer or water, food, free hats at Christmas that have been given to us as fans to say a simple thanks for your support. I look beyond the gifts as there are local bakers employed to make the donuts thus given them extra revenue.l look at the water/beer that is given, local transportation l hope is used again given local businesses a boost. The Hats at Christmas were a nice touch and again hopefully local businesses benefitted. I would even go as far as The Birch. I was sat in the memorial Garden with my own thoughts and glanced over to the Stadium,The Birch's wave caught me by surprise and that smile ....well let's say it brightened my day. I don't see other Teams doing this..Look at Man City & Tottenham's Tunnel mirrors.you can look but don't touch. We took winning the League in our stride ......not many others could say the same!

Hi, sorry I misunderstood.

I genuinely think our owners are fantastic and have the club in n their heart.

Of course they are probably making a few bob out of us but I genuinely have been surprised with how generous they have been.

Apologies for the misunderstanding.

No problem Camberwell fox, l too feel there is a few Bob to be made by our owners, but l look at Liverpool fans having to walk out of a game in response to proposed ticket prices being hiked up.l look at Sunderland,Aston Villa, and thank my lucky stars we have the owners we do

I'd echo most of what has been said on here. Like Artic, I have been following for ten years. Within that I've only been a season ticket holder for a year due to location, but that season was the league 1 season.
We're a bonkers football club. I find myself very often explaining to other football fans that we don't really do mid table seasons, we either win something or nearly get relegated.

My first game was a crap 0-0 against Cardiff. But that was it. I was hooked.

Like Artic there was a moment I knew we'd get back up (and as relegation was my first season, it didn't have a huge impact) but for me it was Steve Howard's bullet header against Leeds. We were going through a bit of a rough patch and I think it was the 89th.
Saw it hit the back of the net past (was it Kasper or Ankergren?) and knew we'd win the league.
Same as the Norwich Ulloa goal. You just know.

I wasn't there for the premier league trophy... but I was for league one and the championship!

This club is ridiculous. But I'd rather support them than a club that commits to mid table in the prem as their ambition.

It's like this - I was born in Leicester 58 years ago, I lived there for the first 20 years of my life, moved away and moved around a bit but I never never ever lost that connection so for me I can only ever feel anything for City, no other club has any interest whatsoever for me (other than Tigers but that's a different story and still Leicester) because City runs through my bones and soul and always will no matter what. For me, what is positive about Leicester is that, it's like my mum or dad or family - I hate it sometimes but I will always always feel it is part of me until the day I die and then I will still love it

Like Weeble,l was born in Leicester but moved away when l was young. When l got married to an amazing Woman l thought it only fair to bring her to my Birth Place.I knew little of Leicester but l wanted to put that right ......boy was l born in a great City.l love the place and so does my Wife,She is now a Leicester City/Tigers fan .She even surprised me with a Birthday gift of Tickets to see the Foxes a few years back.Leicester is an amazing place to have on your Birth certificate and following the Foxes is an added bonus
