I don't agree with the game going ahead today.

Anyone travelling from a significant distance will face delays. Anyone driving any distance off main routes will be taking a risk.

Several thousand people that would have gone, won't be there. There will be many that think better of it. It's also unfair on Bournemouth supporters.

Why not postpone and rearrange for another date? There are multiple free weeks between now and the end of the season.

The only possible reason is pressure from TV companies. The work done on the pitch appears to be excellent. There is no issue with the pitch. It's the supporters that aren't considered important.

 
Totally ageee BN. Supporters are the last ones considered. Can’t be easy for disabled supporters either. Big up to any Bournemouth fans that travel though particularly when you consider that only yesterday there was a red warning in the area down there.
 
May not be massive crowd today.

Anyway, boring draw. Again. 1-1.
No surprises.
 
It's an odd decision. Normally I understand that tv companies are more important than fans safety but is this a big earner from foreigner viewers? Be amazed if many neutrals tune in for this game.

I'd like to separate this desperate tragedy from the football. It is nothing to do with football or my team.

I'm getting pissed off with the routine pleas for some sort of crowd response every time someone dies. We'll soon be applauding some kids dead goldfish at this rate.

When a truly great figure with a strong link to the club dies, by all means let us mark that with a moment of applause or silence.

For anything else, including the absurdly puffed up nonsense of the annual poppy match, just fecking stop it.

It’s made even more unbearable by the fact that everyone claps during the wrong minute.

Just arrived. The roads were all clear and the traffic was light for a Saturday. The pavements look a bit dodgy though.
