We need quality in the centre as our wing play today was dreadful.

Pass it from defence to midfield, pass it sideways multiple times back and forth along the line. Get it to the wings. Run down the touch line. No opening - stop.

Turn back, play it backwards then across the midfield then backwards to the defence again. Pass along the back line. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.

Dreadful to watch and no end product.

Not what I meant Homer and you know it.

For 6-7 games we have been the same and the system is screaming for Silva (or a similar style player), without this we are blunt and added to that as we are now in playing possession based football it is critical we don’t give the ball away between midfield and defence.

For all the criticism of his crossing, and it does need work, Ben Chilwell has provided an assist via a cross in 3 of his last 4 games for club and country.


The common factor? Multiple runners in the box instead of just Vardy
