And clearly neither did the bidding club or they would have bid the necessary amount. My point is that the club (LCFC) and many of its supporters feel he is world-class, but other clubs don't. They want his services but not enough to bid world-class spondoolies to get him.
Most people would think "outscore" means score more goals than.
Vardy didn't score more goals than Kane that season.

This might be the most frustrating discussion I’ve ever had on here. Any chance any of you can ignore nitpicking nonsense and at least try to get the point? I don’t mean skitzo, obviously, I mean one of the adults.
Vardy was a goal short of Kane despite playing fewer games. His strike rate was better, whether or not your dodgy maths and mental gymnastics agree. There is a case that he is at least as good as, if not better than, Harry Kane. If that makes him merely a good Premier League striker then I just don’t know how to have this conversation.

you said outscore, that means who scores more goals, simple fact is Kane scored more goals that season ,the question isn't who is better between the 2 its who scored more goals ,that is a cut and dry fact, it was Kane.
I didn't say Vardy was a "good" striker I said he was outstanding ,but that's not world class, Aguerro is world class, Suarez is world class, as good as he is, Vardy is not on that level
You said he would outscore Kane every season with a competent and consistent team. There's is no way you can know if that's true or not. On the one occasion where Vardy had the chance to score more than Kane, he didn't. And it was his own fault he played fewer games than Kane.
If other people make up stuff like that you'd be the first to jump on them. He may be able to score more goals than Kane, he may not. But stating it as a fact is bollocks.
Since our return to the Premier League, our player with the best goals to game ratio is Chris Wood. Does that mean he's better than Vardy?

My take;
Kane scored more goals than Vardy and is a better player.
On his day, Mahrez is world class. Those days are becoming less and less this season.
I really have lost confidence in Puel and the team. If we give him a chance over the summer there is a possibility that it will come good next season. In reality, I think most people on this thread are right and he's very quickly destroying our team

I think he’s maybe not as versatile, but I think his raw goal scoring ability is as good as anyone else’s.
