Really enjoyed this match. Both teams lacking quality with the final ball, but was enjoyable to see such a wholehearted display, particularly from Peru.
 
Sat June 16: Croatia v Nigeria (Group D), 8pm - ITV1 2 - 0

Croatia were poor but 10 times better than Nigeria who were dreadful. 3 Leicester players on the pitch by the end, but best forgotten.

Sun June 17: Germany v Mexico (Group F), 4pm - BBC One

Sun June 17: Brazil v Switzerland (Group E), 7pm - ITV1

2 big teams enter the tournament, but Costa Rica v Serbia likely to be the closest (potentially most exciting) game.

I don't know which was worse, Nigeria's completely pedestrian performance, (reminiscent of Leicester last season) or the absolutely dreadful commentary that was provided on Fox Sports here in the US. According to the bloke they had on, Iheanacho still plays for Man. City. His sidekick was Coby Jones who is not great but is a vast improvement on Warren Barton who is doing some of the games, christ that bloke is a complete tosser. Don't ever complain about Gary Birtles, compared to Barton he is the most insightful interesting pundit around.

Mexico with the biggest surprise of the tournament so far. (At least until Tunisia play tomorrow) and a good effort from the Swiss. (Although a very lazy performance from Shaquiri)
