Was a bit surprised Vardy wasn't one of the first 5 penalty takers.

I fully expected him to step up but then Dier appeared I thought shit.

But he just squeezed it past Ospina as it went through his out stretched fingers.

Sweden here we come. Time to put that Taylor led game behind us

Was strange about Vardy. Either he’s picked up a knock in ET, he didn’t fancy it after missing one for us in a shootout, or he’s been missing loads in practice.

Or most probably big club bias

Tbh, I was expecting to be fifth and was dreading it - I've never rated his penalty taking for us

I thought Maguire was very good, again. We (my group at our house) guessed the other 4 penalty takers, but missed Vardy for Dier. Having said that, Dier has taken free kicks for England before, so I can see it.

Glad Vardy didn’t take a pen. He would have missed, we would have been knocked out and then my Forest fan wanker associates would have come out of the woodwork.

Sadly it's only a matter of time before someone ups it to 4 million and a bag ofd monster munch !
I have, however, lived long enough to see City win the premier league and to witness England win a penalty shoot-out in a world cup match, so everything else is of little consequence...
