Sorry but this stinks of fix. I may be totally wrong and I'm sure you'll let me know but what are the chances?? Please enlighten me...

Ewwww I’ve just realised that Joey Barton is coming to Leicester.

Playing Vardy’s old club again, I guess.

Why would they fix it for that?
Do they think Vardy will play?

And if they were going to fix it, surely they'd make it an away game.

As it is, it's a nothing game as far as Leicester fans are concerned. We've already played them twice this year. And It won't be a big draw for Fleetwood fans because they came to Leicester so recently.

I'd be surprised if it's picked for TV, there are much better games to pick from.

26 teams, no seeding, so the probability of any one team in the Northern Section drawing any other would be 0.04. The probability of anyone fixing a draw so that Leicester play Fleetwood Town is precisely 0.

Ha ha, as if they'd fix the draw for this pile of crap cup that no one gives a shit about until it gets to the semi finals, and where Vardy probably wouldn't even go to the game, let alone play in it

Quality

As I said, may be totally wrong and I'm sure you'd tell me. No 'Quality' involved, I have constantly said I am A ****-wit at anything football, just enjoy the game. However, the Jamie Vardy film is still in the pipeline and I know (from an advertising perspective) that a link to his old clubs is relevant from a production POV. Just looking to post a perspective that's all.

Aye, I can just see it now. The perfect marketing tie-in for the Jamie Vardy movie that may or may not come out at some undefined point in the future, possibly, maybe, would be a collection of squad players slumping to a 2-1 home defeat against his previous club in front of 4700 people while the man himself plays FIFA at home. Somewhere a movie exec’s eyeballs just turned into 2p coins.

I met with the producers of the Vardy movie (because I’m obviously Johnny big bollocks) recently. It’s going to end up being a cheaper lifetime movie based on what I was seeing/hearing.

We’re playing them in the Checkatrade trophy as well. Wonder if they fixed it.

VAR will be used in this match. First time multiple (three) matches will be using it at the same time.

I thought it was excellent in the World Cup and 95% of its impact was positive. It's absurd that the Premier League have chosen not to use it this season. It's just denying progress.

In addition, there is no extra time in the League Cup this season so any draws go straight to penalties.
