Puel out?

My point of view last year was that we'd seen some positives in defeat and it was right to give him the summer and see how we start this year. I think 10 games is plenty fair. So far we've had defeats to Man U and Liverpool, we scraped a last minute winner against a ****ing terrible Southampton side and robbed Wolves with an own goal and deflected effort. We've now been rinsed by Bournemouth. Huddersfield and Newcastle next who are both ****in shite and Everton who are about as shit as we are. We better get at least 6-7 points from those three games or I'd definitely give him the boot.

I’m not sure what Chilwell has to do with it.

I’ll ask plainly. You see enough evidence in our PERFORMANCES to suggest we are moving in the right direction?

If the answer is yes then we have a fundamental disagreement. Our lack of organization is not, from what I see, part of a larger plan.
you don't see what the Chilwell comment has to do with what I said? Short term pain for long term gain ...

I thought we deserved at least a point Vs United and Liverpool, I don't think we have really clicked yet, but I see enough to keep faith unless I'm presented with a clearly better option as manager, and I don't see one

For one, I'd definitely have Pearson back. I'd have Claudio back. too. There are other options that might be less realistic like Wenger available. Now is a good time to make the change before other teams who are struggling start doing it...

5 teams in this league haven't even won a game yet.

We are really not struggling.

I really don’t think this ends in gain. It ends in our better players leaving.

who's going to leave and where are they going to given the wages we are paying them, Maguire aside no one is going to a top 6 side
They will be keen enough simply not to be in a championship team. :icon lol:

I could see the plan with Chilwell and personally agreed with it. Young players need games.

What in our organizational structure today suggested we are making inroads?

someone who's opinion I trust told me we created a number of chances and didn't take them, especially before they got a couple up, the overall style of play is much better IMO, maybe we need to be braver by getting another passer alongside Wilf for example.

I don't think Puel will change formation but I never Pearson would neither and he did seemingly out of the blue, I don't feel hopeless with Puel, I did with Shakespeare and Claudio by the end and Pearson until the formation switch, however I look at it completely dispassionately so if presented with a better manager I may change my opinion, same as I would with any player, including Maguire and Vardy

So you didn’t watch the game today?

Benitez.

One of the problems is (as I’ve said many times), the binary way people see things.

Positives:
Bringing through younger players
A more attacking approach
More possession

Negatives:
Absolute feckin shambles at the back
Starting slowly in most games
Unwillingness to try 3 at the back (despite most thinking it would suit us more)

They are all reasonable points and, depending on which side of the void you sit, it will make you be a Puelinner or a Puelouter.

Ultimately, we all want the same thing, but some refuse to see the other side.

Woooooooooooahhhh there treacle. Hold on a moment. I can't let that go.

Have you seen the abomination of a mess he's making of things in Belgium? His new fans hate him.

Pearson went insane a few years back. He's currently successfully screwing a few more quid out of the owners before they realise the error of their ways. By rights, he should be managing a pub somewhere.

I’m not going to argue with you if you reply, I’m genuinely curious as to what positive things people have to say about us I’m terms of what we do on the pitch. No young players, training facility chat. What good things do those who do not currently want Puel to go see at the minute?

Well, trying to pass the ball out and play possession football.

Outside of that at the moment I am beginning to struggle.

Also Wes Morgan getting sent off is a blessing in disguise, we ought to appeal to get it extended to a full year

Unfortunately there's no appeal against a 2 yellows ban. I had the same thought so checked it out.
