My thought for the day. Who exactly does Jon Moss have compromising photos/text messages/emails relating to? Seriously, that must be the only explanation for his still being a PL ref.

That was as clear a red card for Kompany as you'll ever see. The sad thing is that it would have been more of a surprise had he given it than do what he did. Remember Kompany did the same at our place a couple of years ago.

I also thought that Sane's challenge was a red. As well as their second goal being insanely allowed despite two clear reasons why it shouldn't have been.

This is why I'm all in favour of VAR. It will even the playing field a bit between the big sides and the rest. Looking at the luck teams like Burnley and Cardiff got with decisions yesterday, it cannot happen quickly enough for me.

Refs are scared to make big decisions against big clubs, especially when they're at home. Always have been. VAR will finally sort this out and even the game up a bit.

Man Utd first goal.
Chelsea player down in his own area, do you think the game would have been stopped if it was a lesser team than Man U?
I'd like to think not, but ...

I don't care what people say, I love Mourinho.

If I played for him, I'd run through brick walls for him.

Funny how many of his own players didn't share this feeling a few weeks ago.

What makes you think that a VAref will be any less biased than the command-or-garden variety? The VAR system does not completely overcome human frailty.

He did get up immediately the goal was scored though.

Mohammed Salah has got his own statue just like CR7, and the result is....... Billy Joel?
