See, for me... The first half was expertly set up. Second half was awfully predictable. I knew that if we set up as a 3/5/2 or 5/3/2 or 5/2/3 as we had the first, Arsenal will have a better chance than if we changed to a 4/5/1 with Vardy up top.

I think once Ozil scores to level the game, the plan needs to change. 4/5/1 with Vardy lone striker and Iborra on for Nacho at half-time, then we have a chance of frustrating them....

Easy to call when looking on the TV of course.

Albrighton is no replacement for Kalechi? Kalechi is killing us (controversial I know) we are playing with 10 men when he is on the pitch, Ricardo played well and created some good chances and was a problem for the full backs as was Chillwell.
I agree with Ghezzal, he looked massively out of his depth and needs time to adjust to the English game
I thought Amartey was woeful and is clearly not good enough he was caught ball watching many times.
Puel needs to play 3-5-2 with a back 3 of Chillwell Maguire and Evans, Mendy and Ndidi will provide ample cover, Maddison should play attacking midfield behind Shinji and Vardy, Ricardo and Albrighton on the left and right.
We need another quality Striker to partner Vardy IMO and it is just my opinion but Kalechi is just not good enough it is upstairs he is lacking, he is constantly out of position and fails to see players in better positions in and around the box. I get the feeling Puel has been told to accommodate him at all costs!
Gray will be a useful addition when returns from full fitness I think it is glaringly obvious that we should stick with 3-5-2, if he inserts Morgan straight back in then that will be the final straw for me. I get the feeling we are 3 - 4 players from breaking into the top 6, we have no strength in depth Puel had no one to introduce to change the game last night, we have recruited badly over the past 3 years.
So you’d put Chilwell, who we all kind of agree is decent at going forward but needs to improve defensively, as centre back?

Good one.

I agree.

Sousa’s appointment was a disaster.

Sven appointment was a disaster.

Pearson’s return was a stroke of genius and just what we needed to clear out Sven’s dead wood.

Ranieri’s appointment was genius, but I think more a case of luck than judgement.

Shakespeare’s appointment was a disaster.

Puel’s appointment was a disaster.

They’ve got it wrong more times than they’ve got it right.

I really, really don't see how Puel can be described as a 'disaster'.

Whether you're happy with him or not, when you look at the history of this club -even our recent history - then our current position is far, far from a disaster.

Hate Puel for whatever reason you want, but it's not a disaster by any stretch.

Uninspiring, boring, not progressive; fine. But he has not by any stretch of all bar the most delusional of imaginations been a disaster. Either in our finishing position last season or our start to this.

Sky said yesterday, before full time, this is our second best ever start to a PL season and we were only 3 points off our title winning pace.

Some people have very, very short memories.

some people have a personal dislike of Puel for some reason and the football is an irrelevance to it

they don't like "him", his accent the way he speaks, he could have us playing like Man City and they still wouldn't like Puel

Can't speak for others but that's completely untrue for me. His communication skills are appalling but that's not why I think he's wasting our time. His actions do that.

didn't say it was for you, I may disagree with you but you at least articulate your problems, sadly I see a lot that it is true for

That is absolute bullshit and you know it is.

He has turned us into the kind of team I despise. We now play like England.

He has bored the entire stadium to death.

He oversaw draws at home against all three relegated sides last season.

He oversaw our second most embarrassing Premier League defeat ever (against Palace).

You might not call any of that a disaster, but I do.

Really? I bet they would. Trouble is we play awful football. We've had a couple of wins this season which were still shit to watch. I like football as a form of entertainment and without the entertainment then i may as well watch the results on Ceefax and have some ales. Outside of the big teams the league is pretty shit at the moment though and that's why I expect no change. It's alright for a bit doing that but like Southampton our few good players will get plucked and we could be relying on some of our awful back up players.

Ha ha, what a losd of complete bollocks

Truly hilarious

I think you need to change the people you talk to. I honestly don’t know a single person who feels like that about him.

We have to get points against Wham or I feel he will be back under pressure, 2nd best start to the Prem Season or not.

There were some unforgivablely bollox performances at the end of last season, when we were supposedly pushing for Europe. In transition maybe but had he gone in the summer I wouldn’t have been surprised. Arsenal home result I feel may have saved him in May.

If he gets us playing like Man City, he will be “The love of my life” and let him “shag my wife”

Bollocks. And quite offensive to be honest if directed to anybody on here.

For such a negative brand of football we concede far too many goals. That’s the biggest thing for me. That and the repetition of mistakes in games.

His interviews are dull but that doesn’t really matter if you win games.
