It’s been coming all day but it’s still hit like a sledgehammer. I, like many others owe the happiest day of my life to the man.
I can only thank him from the bottom of my heart and wish we could all be transported back to that moment when he held that trophy and looked like the proudest man in the world.
He achieved so much yet managed to stay humble and shared his wealth and culture with us. Rest in peace, Vichai. What a loss.

As has been pointed out elsewhere we should not forget there are four other families also grieving
Usually people are only appreciated after their death. It can only be small comfort but while he was alive the fans let Vichai know how much they liked him.
Two of the most uncool qualities are IMO the most important in a man . I got the feeling that he was a man of integrity and even more important a kind man. Integrity and kindness together makes up a simple phrase - a good man. I think Vichai was a good man.

I’m a much more emotional character since my kids were born, but this is something that has hit me hard.
I hope Vichai, Top and all of their family and friends understand how much they mean to the city of Leicester.
Many owners divide opinion or have universal dislike, but I don’t feel that that was ever the case here. Vichai was universally respected, appreciated and loved by City supporters and that’s a pretty unique thing.
May he rest in peace.

Still can't believe that he is gone. This has broken my heart and when I heard the news I felt sick. He was the best owner our club will ever have. He bought us the best times that we will have supporting our club. He gave to the community. He was a kind man with time for the fans as well as embracing the local community. RIP Vichai you will be missed by every city fan.

We’ve lost a true Gentlemen. Never met Vichai but he demonstrated with warmth, generosity and civility what an owner can mean to a club and community. I want to believe he created a legacy and Spirit that cannot die. May all those that lost someone in the heartbreaking tragedy feel the strength and love. #LCFC

Words don't cut it today. It is grossly inadequate but, all I can say is; thank you, sir. Yes, for the football, for the right kind of pride in our team, our club and our city, but most of all, for showing that kindness trumps power and that good guys can be winners.

Wow. I am still a little bit numb from this.
He did a great job of turning us into a club that believed in itself, and stopped the yo-yo club reputation.
Great generosity towards the fans and the city. A great man - sure he will be missed more intensely by those close to him, but certainly all associated with the club will remember fondly.

Like all of us I am struggling to make sense of the thoughts and emotions running through my mind about what happened this weekend.
I don’t feel able to comment on Vichai having never met him so I will leave that to others.
I just want to express my thanks to the leader of our club, our family, for giving us the opportunity to dream and realise those dreams. I might never have met you Vichai but I can say with certainty that no-one I have never met has had such a positive influence on my life and happiness than you … thank you and RIP.

Very special man who I had the pleasure of meeting three times. Like many I don’t have the words and all a bit too raw, goodness knows what the respective groups of friends and families of all 5 are going through especially against the backdrop of such a public outpouring. I hope everyone can find some peace in the coming days.
