We may not have the best team in the world but we have the best football club.

In the last 2 weeks, our fans have shown they are simply magnificent.

The staff have all been outstanding. The players have been a marvel.

Our vice chairman has been amazing. Our local media have performed heroics.

National media like Sky (especially Rob Dorsett) and many of the daily newspapers and their reporters have said and written incredible things.

It would be hard to argue against our fantastic Leicester City Football Club being the absolute best right now, at this moment in time.

Let's treasure it!

I am SO proud. So happy that this club fell into my lap and I have stuck with it through thick and thin. So very happy my kids are Leicester born and bred and will be Blues forever. When you're smiling...

The most incredible thing for me about today is the fact that so many thousands of those who took part in the walk didn't even have tickets for the game.

They walked with their dogs and with their babies in push chairs.

Truly a great tribute to the best football club in the world.

Leicester City Council saying that 50,000 people took part in the walk. Including a coach load of Burnley fans who stopped their coach at Jubilee Sq and got off and joined the walk.

In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king.
In this land of take, take, take chairman, Vichai with his give, give, give philosophy was adhered. admired, and envied from other clubs, was The King.

Of all the football clubs in all the world, he chose our club.
We are one lucky bunch of supporters.
Thank you Vichai

Yesterday did not just happen. Somebody had to decide to bring back the old managers, have the booklets printed and scarves manufactured and more difficult actually get it done.

Obviously the decisions were not made by Top; it had to come from a grieving Susan Whelan and her staff. The whole event smacked of months of preparation yet was put together in two weeks.

One of the tests of a leader like Vichai is the staff he appoints. Vichai is gone but the people he appointed to run the club are extraordinarily able and deserve our gratitude.

I have been enormously impressed by the club the last two weeks. The organisation, the tone that’s been set and maintained, the little decisions and the big ones, everything seems to have been done the right way. The Vichai way, by Vichai people, in Vichai’s house. Exceptional effort in very difficult circumstances.

Quite correct David. And from the snippets I have heard Susan Whelan deserves a heck of a lot of credit.

Apparently Susan Whelan has taken the unprecedented step of giving every member of staff the day off today (Monday) and the Club is effectively closed today - given the events of the last two weeks, they all deserve that.

One thing is now clear. Our club will have no problem filling the king power stadium when it is extended. The support from non ticket holders on Saturday was mind blowing and you could see in their faces how they longed to have a ticket for the game.
