My memory is that he disliked being asked to do this job at Manchester City, and wanted to play further forward when he joined us. Every chance I’ve misremembered of course

I've found several Nigerian websites that say his favourite position is behind the striker, but nothing with a direct quote.

For example: "As exclusively reported by this portal, the forward has been promised a new role by Leicester City coach Craig Shakespeare, who plans to play the forward in his favourite position behind the main striker."

He's so slow it's painful.

Watching him waddle after a ball and inevitably get beaten to it by a slow defender isn't great.

I'd have Slimani in this system
 
I'd love to see us sign Neil Maupay from Brentford. 12 goals and 6 assists from 15 matches this season. He's pacey and runs in behind defenders buy also has great technique and take on players and play a little further back towards midfield.

He had last season to settle into English football and this season is killing it!

Iborra/Silva/James/King? He absolutely is.

I said this elsewhere I would look at someone like Delph, does the defensive side Puel wants there but he is a quality passer, him alongside Wilf could be great for us, Man City probably wouldn't sell but he's the type of player we need there

He's under-appreciated, that's for sure. I bet he's on a big wedge though.

Agree completely. He’d do well in our side.
 
the more I see of Dom Solanke the more I like him as a forward, if we could get him cheap or on loan I'd do it
