Man City and Liverpool are good sides. Chelsea and Spurs are okay. Arsenal and Everton a bit meh. Everyone else is average to terrible.

There is an issue for me with paying players millions to lose every week. The worst teams in the Premier League have a lot of players that are nowhere near good enough.

However, worse even than the players are the managers. The standard of management outside the top three of four sides is absolutely terrible. Where is the incentive to do well when you get paid millions for failure? Puel is a case in point. I don't think he gives a shit whether he stays in the job or not.

I got a pay rise recently and thought about getting some football tv shit to watch. It's a league of 4 football teams and 16 West Broms....**** that. More curries it is.

Best performance we've seen for a long time. Well deserved. Defensively pretty solid whilst still creating good chances. MOM - Ricardo for some great defending. Numerous important tackles made in the match.
Agreed
Ricardo best player on the pitch. Had a superb game.

Bored to death to be honest.

If that's the performance we want to see week in week out then not sure I like football anymore.

Seems the fans don't really give a shit either as the atmosphere was completely dead.

As fast as Ben Chilwell has progressed this season, Wilfred has gone backward at twice the pace.

His passing is diabolical.

3 points is 3 points but the issues remain for me.

Watford were absolutely atrocious if we're honest.

Generally you make sound sense and I respect your views even when I don't agree with them but your last sentence is just ridiculous.

Two pretty average teams, but at least they were both having a go

May have been low on quality, but a marked improvement in terms of overall tempo and effort. A complete change in attitude and approach which at least played to the team's general strengths, albeit it was scary and reckless at times. No tippy tappy possession based bollocks , and thank the good feckin Lord for that

Mendy was the key. A wonderful performance from him all round. Ricardo, Chilwell and Vardy, too, looked decent.

By way of contrast , Gray was complete dogshit. He is feckin rubbish. Wilf was quite poor, particularly first half. And Iheanacho ? Seriously, what the feck is that all about ? Pony

Watford were truly shit, though, let's be honest

Gray is not on the same level as his teammates.

No improvement over quite some time now.

Albrighton was incredible, I love the blokes attitude.

Despite playing two incredibly negative central midfielders, we conceded space and possession on the edge of our area far too much.

We actually still have a side better suited to the fast and direct side of things.

What are the words to the chant that begins "Vichai had a dream" sung to the tune of Sloop John B?

Vichai had a dream
To build a football team
He came from Thailand now he's one of our own
We build from the back
Then counter-attack
Champions of England
He made us sing that

or very similar.

o Leicester City have won all five of their home Premier League matches against Watford, scoring 10 goals and conceding just once.
o Watford have won just one of their last 12 away matches at the King Power Stadium against Leicester in all competitions (D2 L9), a 2-1 victory in April 2013 in the Championship.
o Since the start of the 2014-15 season, Jamie Vardy has won more penalties in the Premier League than any other player (14).
o All three of Leicester striker Jamie Vardy’s Premier League goals against Watford have arrived at the King Power Stadium.
o James Maddison has been directly involved in four goals in his six Premier League home games for Leicester this season, scoring three and assisting one.
o Watford’s Etienne Capoue was sent off in a league game in Europe’s top five divisions for the first time since May 2013 for Toulouse versus Sochaux.

Well, I thought we were decent. We played to our strengths and got forward quickly.

Vardy plays well = Leicester play well. Chilwell is a £100 million defender in the making. Pereirra was awesome.

Some heart in gob moments but to me that was much better.

Maddison (if he can be arsed) is pure quality.

Gray stank.

Happy with the win.

To be honest I've been getting increasingly frustrated with it over the last few weeks and reminding myself to give them all a bit of slack after the tragic events of just a few weeks ago. That is very little time to those close to Vichai, which I believe many of our players and staff would've been.

So it's good to get the win today.

Quite remarkable that we are 7th given we haven't played well for a lot of the season.

It puts us in a positive position to push on though. I hope we're in a position to strengthen with 1 or 2 players in January as I genuinely think that would be enough to make a big difference. If we could bring in a winger with some quality then it would help a lot. For example if we'd been successful signing Felipe Anderson...

Puel got the team selection right. I say this despite believing he needs to put a proper striker alongside Vardy. Puel just does not have one available. Iheanacho has had more than enough time to establish himself. He does not look like a Premier League striker.

Apart from Vardy my favourite player is Demari Gray. I enjoy seeing him run with the ball and the feeling that he can make something happen. I get no such excitement from watching Marc Albrighton. However, Gray had a poor game and over a season I would rate Albrighton the better player.

I made Albrighton the man of the match. This was a remarkable achievement since Mendy was also quite superb. I suspect that if Mendy had played like this in 2016-17 Claudio would still be our manager.

Puel in.

Empty seats everywhere today

Although the stats show that it was quite an even game, I felt quite comfortable throughout the game. Even when they had chances I just had a positive feeling.

I think the Premier League outside the top 6 is so closely matched that a lot of teams cancel each other out and it can seem quite boring at times, but I think we have what many of our rivals lack, a natural finisher in Vardy, which through the season should see us compete for 6th to 8th finish.
what teams do in January is going to be very important.

Even the top 6 though seem to have accepted that Man City are going to dominate, so this has been the most boring season in a while IMO.

It’s amazing how little any of us have said it this year, but Stringer said it on Friday night. We are missing Mahrez.

I remember a great phase of play against Cardiff which left Vardy in great space for an easy through ball from Demerai....who passed it just short of where it needed to be. Riyad would have got it spot on.

On the subject of wingers, in an article about Chelsea’s 100+ plus professional football players today (and we think our squad is bloated, they have 14 registered GKs) it was pointed out that Victor Moses is out in the cold now. He was instrumental in their last title win. Would be a good signing.

We put more crosses into the box than any other team in the league.

We don't need out and out wingers we need the ball coming from deep through the middle for vards or ball from deeper out wide that get behind the defensive line, ala Albrighton yesterday.
