Zaha is out for them. 0-0 written all over it.

“Needs to refind his intensity.”

Bingo!

good to see Puel believes that we do not need another striker and that he has confidence in what we have.

If we didn't play in such a horrifically dull, stifling way that leaves them completely feckin isolated for the whole ninety minutes, he might actually be right

He's been absolutely bobbins, wish he was playing
We managed to let Benteke score against us home and away last season....

Head-to-head

  • Crystal Palace completed the league double over Leicester last season, scoring eight goals without reply over the two games.
  • The Eagles could win three consecutive top-flight fixtures against Leicester for the first time.
  • There have been 16 goals in the four most recent meetings.
Crystal Palace

  • Palace have won just two and lost 10 of their last 15 league fixtures.
  • The Eagles have claimed a measly five points at home, a joint league-low alongside Huddersfield and Newcastle.
  • They have scored four goals at Selhurst Park - only Huddersfield, with three, have scored fewer at home.
  • Palace have lost each of their last 13 Premier League matches without Wilfied Zaha, and failed to score in 11 of those.
  • Their most recent league victory without Zaha was 3-2 at Sunderland in September 2016.
  • Six of the Eagles' 13 league goals have been scored in the final 15 minutes of their matches.
  • There have been just 12 goals scored at Selhurst Park so far this season, the fewest at any Premier League ground.
Leicester City

  • Defeat for Leicester last weekend ended their six-game unbeaten run.
  • The Foxes have scored in all of their last nine away fixtures.
  • Leicester are undefeated in 10 league matches this season against teams that kicked off below them in the table, winning six of them.
  • They have let in five goals in the opening 15 minutes of games; only Manchester United, with six, have conceded more.
  • Claude Puel's side have conceded 32 Premier League away goals in 2018, second only to Southampton's 35.

Over 2 years since they won a game without Zaha!

How he survived this I’ll never know. Both games were an absolute embarrassment.

I can’t be arsed to look back over the results just before it but it felt like the first one was just a real sucker punch. They got their tactics spot on and battered us, plus Zaha was unplayable. We’d given up on the season by the 2nd dicking we took off them.

You’re right, the first one was a real sucker punch. They pressed very well and gave us no time on the ball whatsoever. Palace were excellent that day.

The second dicking was up there with the Bolton defeat in terms of how embarrassing it was

We'd won four in a row before the home game: Tottenham, Burnley, Newcastle away, Southampton away.
