Therein lies one of many conundrums.
Many calling for Claude's head (recently he certainly hasn't helped himself), however I can't see any viable and realistic alternatives being put forward.

(That doesn't mean I think he should carry on ad infinitum)

I'm not sure of his remit from those upstairs, but they can't like how the atmosphere is turning just a few months after everyone was so united.

I can't think of a viable option but mostly because I don't have the benefit of knowing who would be interested. The people in charge of our club will have a better idea and hopefully we get a nice surprise sooner rather than later. The problem with speculating alternatives is you don't know their situation and ambitions. If we do make a change hopefully it's not on a name sounds like basis that they tried.

Our disjointed approach to manager recruitment will continue

One thing is clear, there is no blueprint from those incharge, it's more throw names in the air and see which lands nearest

We are so often a charity for teams or players who have a horrible record to stop, it's ****ing infuriating.

Today's turn to get the monkey of their back was Shane 'cant score in a brothel' Long.

1st goal in 9 months.

Why can't you say that you want this clueless feckwit out of the Club unless you can come up with an alternative?

It's like some bizarre rule that you can't possibly say he has to go unless you have a name or a number of different names. How odd

He's an absolute duffer and he needs to get the feck out of here. That is all

I'll leave it to those at the Club to find a new man, thanks

1st goal in 9 months.

That’s an opinion shared by a lot of fans I think. I’d be very interested to know if there is a genuine connection or if it’s just fan bias, because it definitely feels like it doesn’t it??

Ooh look who's available.

It's Allardyce or Moyes or Pardew, that's what you'll get

Be careful what you wish for etc. Etc. Etc.

Similar to Claude the Fraud’s team selection then.

Ha ha - watching MOTD and didn't realise that Schmeichel actually pulled their second goal in - was going well wide

When it's shit, it's shit

Puel just comes across as a complete cock

That Vardy dive is nothing short of a disgrace

Reversion to the mean. Just the way probability plays out.

Lets go for an English manager have a look at Lee Johnson from Bristol city done well on a nothing budget and has to rebuild every year, can do no worse than the bumbling incumbent currently in charge, and would be up for a challenge

Next up Wolves away, Liverpool away, Man United at home, Spurs away

We've already been told that we can't possibly compete with any of those four, so might as well hand over the points now

I expect 12 points, no less.

I'm surprised that Kasper and Morgan aren't getting more blame for the goals. Yes Mendy was stupid but he was in the position of covering for our sleeping defence far to often.

It may have been part of the plan for him to sit in and play as a central defender to allow the fullbacks more freedom, but he spent far too much of the game as the only central defender.

Puel is feeling the pressure, going back to 3 midfielders for this game was out of character even for him, and his "not my concern" shoulder shrugging press conference was cringe worthy. I supported Puel for a long time, but i think he has now lost confidence in himself. Dead man walking.

I am amazed at how much Wes gets away with, simply by not being in a defensive position when an opponent has the audacity to enter our penalty area. Wes is being a supplementary defensive midfielder (and heaven knows, with only three in the team, we need another of those!)

Kasper may be forgiven: he makes far fewer mistakes.

I think that Kasper lad will make a good goalkeeper when he starts practicing his distribution.

Jasper didn’t make a mistake for the second goal for ****s sake. He was positioned correctly and spread himself to fill as much of the goal as possible.

It deflected off his arm, are we saying his arm should have been elsewhere?

Once again a load of shit ,again a pissing rubbish set up from that man puel again, when is he going to piss off,1st goal came from another shit kick out from our so called goakeeper, dont blame mendy for that, it looked to me that he sent 11 men out to play and told them to do whatever they wanted, absolute ship GET THE **** MAN OUT NOW .HES A ****ING DISGRACE OUR PAST GREAT OWNER WOULDNT HAVE PUT UP WITH THIS ,IF HES LOOKING DOWN ON OUR CLUB HE WOULD HAVE BEEN SHOCKED
