I agree, they just don't work. grimble, when sat comes, bassett, they are all just watchable, but never really any good.
ID almost gets there but is it a football film?

Fever Pitch is a bad film, it just shades into romance aswell.

If I had the money I would make a docu about a Sunday morning footie team.

I did hear City were going to allow Louis Theroux into the club in one of Mace's masterplans. However we went on that horrible losing streak.

Fever pitch is a good book but it wasn't a good film indeed all Nick Hornbys books are worth reading IMO but the films that have been made out of them have all been poor.

High Fidelity is ok IMO and if you sit through all of About a Boy with the girlfriend then it's usually worth it, wink wink, nudge nudge.
