The Premiership on ITV, oh how glad i am were back on it, to see Muzzy, Mickey and a Leicester fan all in the starting clips was great, but whats not great is the amount of coverage we get!!

I mean mabey 1 Min of coverage for us and 2 for Wolves and Man u v Botlton which bares no major relivance, get the top spot followed by Arsnal v Everton? Why? Just because there two big clubs what should they get all the time?

It was a day that won't be forgotten by City fans but people who don't support us will have forgotten the score by the time they wake up!!

I Hate ITV, When i texted in the phone in predicting Des wouldnt gives us a look in, he hinted it would be back on the BBC is it offical?

If so it will be great to see Liniker back on the telly on a saturday night, just like the good old days!

Yes, it's definitely back on BBC next season as part of the new TV deal that was announced last week.

I'm afraid that as ITV are money grabbing barstards, they only show the big teams in their features to attract as much revenue as possible.

BIG TEAM (Man U) = GLORY FANS = VIEWERS = £££££££££


Bring back MOTD please!!!!!!!!!!

The thing that annoys me about The Premiership is that they always have the saturday lunchtime game which is live on Sky as one of their main games when the fans of both of the teams playing would of watched the match so why would they want to watch the highlights! This wastes time which could be used to cover games in which the fans haven't seen the action.

Also their is too much time spent on anyalias when The Premiership on Monday is for that, add that too all the ad breaks and coverage of Arsenal and Man Yoo games and their is about 10 mintues at the end to show the goals of about 4 or 5 other games.

Bring back MOTD!!

I came back early from a night out to watch the football on ITV, to finally see us back where we belong, and what do we get? 60 seconds of highlights? Even Wolves got more than us, and Pompey get a whole game even though they were a lunch time kick off?

I can see why ITV didn't dedicate a lot of time to City v Saints - it's hardly a glory match. But it fcuking bugs me the way Wolves are seen as the returning heroes to the top flight. God, I hope we stuff them on Oct 25th. They won't show that on ITV i bet!

The thing that gets me is the people on it, Andy Townsend, Robbie Earle & Big Ron!!!! Why do we have to watch Man U for 30mins & then have to listen to 10mins of pure sh*t. Great tan though Ron!!!!

The over riding problem with ITV compared to BBC is that there are a commercial station so have to show the games involving the 'big' clubs to generate the advertising revenue.

If companies have bought advertising rights for the slots during the main games on The Premiership, they won't be best pleased if they find out the main game is Leicester v Soton as the amount of people who will tune into the game will be less than if they spend 30mins on Man Utd.

The Beeb doesn't have the same problem which is why you often found Leicester as a main game even if we weren't playing Man Utd, Liverpool or Arsenal.

Wishful thinking maybe, but it'd be nice to see Des having to pay us some attention.

What you should do Tom is set the video for the Sunday morning showing then you,

1. Don't have to come back early.

2. Put our showing on slowmo. If you have a really crap video like mine the slowmo makes the showing last 3 hours..

Besides there's usually two Paul Dickov's when I get home.........

Bring back BBC when Sir Gary makes Hansen and that 'plastic paddy' say how great we are.

If we beat chelski, we wouldnt get an ounce of notice, it would be how have chelski lost with their multi-million pound squad? How did chelsea not beat us? Do you really think they would say how Leicester managed to beat chelski?

to be fair the wolves coverage had to be a lot longer to fit in all the goals they conceded

although the whole coverage of them being in the premiership was a joke - like well done lads, years of money thrown at the club, frequently the best quality squad in the division (though not last season of course) and failure after failure - us getting up was twice their achievement
