I think this program is an absolute joke - The coverage of the so called 'big teams' is biased beyond belief.

I can't wait for MOTD to return - At least Sir Gary will give us a mention!

The Premiership is pathetic because the only way smaller clubs are ever going to be a main game is when they are playing eithier Man Yoo, Arsenal, Liverpool or Chelsea!

Also the advert breaks get really annoying aswell

It's the way they show so many bloody repeats of the goals scored my Chelsea, Man Utd etc, and then show Leicester, Wolves et al, once for about two seconds...

And how many times do they show that fcuking Russian

Ive said it before, and ill say it again, the Premership is bloody awful! I hate Des, I really hate Andy Townsend and 'Big Ron' has'nt got the slightest.

I remember the big uproar when Itv first launched The Premiership, everybody said it was crap, it was slated in the papers and by the genral public, and as far as im concerned it hasnt really changed much, just people got board of complaining about it!

Looking forward Gary & co being back on, saturday nights wouldnt be the same without it.

whats the point in staying up till midnight when you've got a game in the morning and you only see 30 seconds of your team? what would happen if chelski were midtable at xmas, would they still get the amount of coverage they get now,

ITV is bloody ridiculous, on opening day against soton they didnt even show our penalty appeal in the second half aswell as the other shots us and soton had

If you want proper highlights coverage watch Goals On Sunday on Sky at 11 am on Sunday. The presenters are excellent they have different guests each week, who don't always have the same opinions, and they share out the time covered to each side alot more evenly.

Oh and I hate the bloody advert breaksduring the premiershipo and the fact that they give a champions league advet higher priority and space than our matches. We were on past midnight against Villa and they did'nt even replay most of the goals.

I have to say, Goals on Sunday is quality. As you said Trev, they have different guests that contribute different views and opinions. The highlights for most games are pretty generous too.

I would always watch this program but I don't get too see it anymore - Working on a Sunday means I have to make do with 'The Premiership' for now until MOTD returns.

I know exactly what Andy Townsend and Ally Mcoist are going to say before they say it. It is the same points about the same players week in week out. Maybe they might help this if they were not forever analysing Arsenal and Chelsea.

If you think Clyde Tyldsley creams himself over Van Nistelrooy then u should listen to Ron Atkinson go on about him when they play in Europe. I remember when Wes Brown scored a header against Juventus Ron Atkinson actually suggested that he should have left it for Van Nistelrooy to make sure. The guy had just scored against Juventus and all Ron Atkinson could do was talk about how good van Nistelrooy is. Do they think we are stupid we can see that for ourselves.

The 'Premiership" is piss poor...I don't bother with it and tend to catch up via Sky Sports News on Sunday mornings...which to be honest isn't a lot better.

I know ITV are woeful, but why do they employ Ron Atkinson? He is an absolute joke and some of his views are baffling at best.

He said last year that Leeds would win the Premiership - Need I say more? :roll:

He also said that Chelsea have signed some unproven players from abroard. Thus showing what a fool he is when they have signed Mutu (18 goals in Serie a), Makalele and Crespo who has an ubelievable scoring record from abroard.
