Nalis or Scimeca?

After that wonderfully crafted post by Speno, the debate has arsien about who should partner Muzzy in the middle.

Even though Nalis has consderabely improved in recent games, I still think Scimeca is the better option in that anchor role in midfield.

Which I can't see Micky doing - Unless we play 5 in midfield away from home.

As great as Nalis' goal was, Scimeca is what we need. The key to O'Neil's success was that Lennon, Savo & Izzet were so hard working in the midfield engine room. Scimeca fits the bill, Nalis is great at what he does, but it's more style than graft.

Anybody noticed how hard Izzet is working? Really getting stuck in, he's such a talented player, we are incredibly lucky to have him.

Like I said in an earlier thread Tom, I think Muzzy is amazing at the moment, world class. He must rank among the best we ever had...

Said in a post ages ago, Muzz & Lil are ATTACKING midfielders you can`t play them both IMO, Scimeca is the anchor man, the ball winner in the centre of the park, he`s a must to play along side Muzzy OR Lil !

Izzet aint getting forward enough these days because of him having to graft too much!! Izzet is absolutely class he really is and we need to start playing to his strengths more!! Not banging the ball straight over his head from defence up to the attackers. The whole team should revolve round Izzet, he is my hero. I love him.

I am happy with either Nalis or Scimeca. One thing I would say that might tip me in favour of Nalis is the way he has applied himself.

Either way I would rather have those two and Izzet in place of a number of midfielders in the Premier League. :mrgreen:

Scimeca and Nalis both look like excellent signings. I would probably go for Scimeca to start at the moment, but Nalis is definitely getting used to the pace of the premiership.

Its definitely a good decision for Micky to make!
