i'm chuffed he's gone but what do you think the reason behind it was? it seems a bit odd that at after only 6 mounths at a new club that he would move on. Was it mickys desicion, was redknapp amazed by his talents and was desperet to sign him! or was it his own dicision?

to be honest i was shocked that he had gone.
Because it seems strange that redknapp would try and buy someone who was relativly new at another club and who isn't premiership quality.
had micky put him on the transfer list monday morning after his performance on saturday. or had curtis decided he wanted to leave and his agent looked for another club?

Obviously Mickey's got on the phone to managers looking for a defender (as harry publically was) and said look, we've got a defender here who comes highly rated and is a good player, but it's not working out here and it's best for all 3 parties involved to just let him go on a free now.

U missed out the option 'because he's a bag of wank'

i think that was option 2 dannyboy!
but put nicely!

all managers rate players differently and maybe he took redknapps cod eyes when he was at man spew or blackburn look at dickov he was doing nothing at man city but micky and dave bassett took a chance..and the rest is history as they say..but saying that redknapp would be a bloody miracle worker if he can get him playing well

Lol. There's no way Redknapp is a miracle worker...

As Blackadder would say 'he's about as steady as the unsteadiest defender in England after 15 pints whose balancing on the unsteadiest clliff in the world'

I would have said nearer 20 dannyboy. Fifteen is nothing!

I think Micky was just offering him to clubs ala CM! I certainly would of.........

Redknapp is a fool!!!!

Good riddance to him - what did he actually claim to be good at?

I read something on teletext (I think) that Codface had tried to sign him when he was at Westham, and 'had admired him for a long time'     Prat :!:

Admired him? That's hilarious - admired his absolute crapness.

Just clicked on the 'Players views' link and from the Foxes trust site 'John Curtis diary' This takes you to the site 'Icons' 'The official site of the WORLDS LEADING PLAYERS' FFS Curtis is on it!!!!    Could'nt be arsed to register but he is quoted as saying he moved as he "has a better chance of avoiding relegation"
Sheet stain

I know why Curtis left.

At a recent clown convention, Warnock said to Redknapp that Curtis was excellent and that Lee Morris wasn't that good. Redknapp then said "but they won't sell Curtis if he's so good!" and Warnock said "Yes they will because I will let them sign Lee Morris from under our noses".

"Clever" said Harry - "Indeed" said Neil.
