I think our failure to get three points today means now that we now have absolutely no hope of staying up... Sadly, for so so many reasons I feel we are now without a doubt definately relegated...

Yes unless Micky picks the right team ie: SCOWCROFT **** OFF
And we get some luck
And we keep more clean sheets

And Stewart ****s off too then! Scowcroft had a good game today so i fail to see how you can criticise

i still beleive that we will stay up, as we're not miles of anyone and still have 33 points to play for!
what is noticable is that we have that fighting spirit and there is beleif with the players that we can stay up, and us the fans have been excelent and not once moaned and got on players backs! we've stuck with them and got behind them trumendously! we were very unlucky today and if wolves would of won then it may of been a differnent story!
all this 40 points stuff is a load of shit, at the end of the day we have to make sure that there are 3 teams below us and i can only see that being pompey, leeds and wolves, so aslong as we have more points than them we'll be ok!
What you have to ask yourself is.. can you honestly see nayof the bottom teams reaching 40 points! i can't 35-37 will be enough imo and that means 12-14 points should be ok, so to do that i think;
1 point against brum
3 points against everton
3 points against leeds
1 point against fulham
3 points against blackburn/ man city
3 points against pompey

and we will be ok.... yes i am opstimistic but i don't think this sis asking to much!

4 wins in a few months when we've had 6 months to get a total of 4 wins
most teams fighting for survival are shit allseason but then going on an amazing run just towards the end i can't see no reason why we can't!

I fear that unless we get a piece of devine interference we are playing in Div 1 next season. Mathematically yes there are enough points available but tactically I feel LCFC at the moment couldn't fight their way out of a paperbag never mind relegation.

My main gripe from yeseterdays game was the lack of ambition from our lads. Wolves were atrocious, sorry Dorky - they were, and deserved a hiding. City however, apart from Dickov and Sir Les at the end, failed to get into second gear never mind top and like so much of our season the chance slipped away.

I thought that Marcus Bent had a decent enough second half once Scowcroft had been replaced. The question is however why start Scowcroft? Bent once he he had the left back to run at, beat him every time but it was far too little far too late.

On the positive, Matt Heath had a decent enough game along with Steffan and Muzzy. Walker had one of his better games and hopefully the clean sheet and exceptional save will boost his confidence.

I did however expect as much before the game. Reports of MA being unhappy at the negative thoughts of some fans question his understanding of how much this does mean to us. I do of course reffer to the report in yesterday's Sun. "Adams:Give me a break."

Yes I realise that last year we were all calling MA the greatest manager ever. However as in much of life you cannot rest on what you have achieved and you must try to achieve more. In this case are we not correct to ask of MA to do the same? If MA cant then sorry for building you up but we do now accept you for what you are. Secondly I am not interested in how much money we have not had to spend. I realise that MA would have loved several million to go slashing around but I'm glad he hasn't given his love for sign a player and sell him on.

In a word. MA don't winge at us. You may be here today and somewhere else tomorrow. We however will be here for life and as a result demand the best for OUR club. If you can keep us up, then do it. Quietly.

I realise that a predominant number of the posters who now use this forum don't have to face the restriction of any reality when forming judgements but for the record Petrescu & Danny Boy are about right.

The positives from yesterday are that we looked unusually solid - but we were playing another poor side.

MA got the selection right & substitutions right given the limitations of Thatcher suspended & Big Les not feeling too good-but that involved playing Scowcroft wide who limited the opportunity to stretch an opposition that was there to be beaten.

The negatives are that this was a game we could not afford not to win & Wolves could just about afford to lose it - & the points were not delivered.

The other negative is the vibes coming from MA - I've been around too long not to recognise when a manager is sending out either the wrong signals or alternatively the right signals in the sense that he's making it clear that he wants or is already getting out.

We are in like a maze at the moment because there is always something clincicaly wrong that we do in each, it is like trying to find the way out of a maze, your nearly always find a dead end. We have to find a way out. I mean we could get relegated, then get promoted again and have the same problem. So really, we have too look at the previous results of the games coming up. like pompey, brum n everton. I think we can win these three defientely.

no he didn't...

What would you have changed London? Personally I would have wanted Ferdinand on from the start woth Bent on the wing, but allegedly Ferdi had pulled up before the game complaining of a knee problem, which forced him on to the bench.

i would have played Bent up front, if in fact Ferdinand was injured, and I would have put Canero on the wing... FFS if Canero is a worse option than Scowcroft to play on the right then he may as well go back to Killie now... or is he "one for the future"...
