I think it’s pretty clear now that Cambers has proper jinxed us by starting this thread. I’ve no doubt that when Susan Whelan releases the report into our demise this season, this will be cited as the main reason for our downfall.
Did they say they would publish anything from their last “review”, after last season? I genuinely can’t remember if they did, but they haven’t actually said anything publicly so I assume they didn’t?
Problem is, the root of the problem is probably further up the chain of command in the club and they’re hardly likely to make changes that get rid of themselves, even given what has happened to us over the last 12-18 months.
Not all fans are that fussed by the behind the scenes stuff though. It’s not that it doesn’t bother them, it’s just that they can’t see how they can do a lot about it and therefore just enjoy it for what it is. There’s nothing wrong with that and it’s not necessarily a case of being...
Just got back from a day at Bristol Uni with my daughter and thought the 2nd half might be a good way to unwind after the journey back. Sounds like I was wrong.
My understanding is that we had to file them a while ago with the league, but we don’t have to publicly announce them until they need to be filed with HMRC, which I think is the end of March. We’re in this position of talking about it now as we’ve delayed filing them for as long as possible.

If you're going to be the subject of negative headlines, control the narrative and get in there first and talk about it before others do. We've done the opposite and said nothing until it's too late.
Exactly. Smacks of a bit of arrogance really, but given that the club have said next to nothing publicly, they’ve got no one to blame but themselves if people start talking about them.
When the headlines become points deductions, rather than about the football on the pitch or the big shiny new signings, I cant imagine the regulations will stay as they are.
That being said, we clearly aren’t staying within the rules as they stand today, therefore we should face punishments...
He’s pretty quick to talk about other clubs, but predictably, for somebody who has previously done some work for Man City, he seems incredibly defensive about them :icon lol:
I agree, which is why I think they’ll ultimately have to change the rules on this. I doubt they liked the fact that the January transfer window was quiet either, as that doesn’t generate clicks and news.
Kick off has been delayed in the Chelsea vs Arsenal game tonight, apparently due to a kit colour clash.
Doesn’t one team wear blue and the other team wear red? :102: :017:
It’s probably sock colours or something like that, but seems a bit odd at first glance.
