    The Jamie Vardy appreciation thread

It was Hammond who had the good game, I knew it was one of the peripheral players from the start of that season. For some reason I thought it was GTF.

    The Jamie Vardy appreciation thread

From what I remember wasn't there a consensus that he had a pretty decent game that day?

    Leicester face questions about FFP

Did I read sometime ago that the Akgun and Fatawu loans were subject to us buying them at the end of the season. If, no, when we fail to get promoted this year what happens, do we buy them and then because we can't register them immediately have to sell them? If so I can see us losing a lot of...

The fact that he looked across and saw that there was no danger inside makes it even worse.

Vardy won't start, it'll be Daka.

    Championship 23/24

Conversely we should have been 2-0 up at Leeds when Daka's goal was disallowed for offside. Had that goal stood we would have been twelve points clear of second place and things might look a bit better now. With that being said I'd rather not have VAR in the way it is being used in the PL.

By the time they get round to dealing with Man. City and Chelsea, the "luxury tax" will be in place and they'll both get a small fine.

Apart from not giving up and winning the ball back when on his arse which led to the first goal.

Post Match Leicester 3 Norwich 1

Yep, that assist and goal from Mavididi weren't worth him being on the pitch for and I don't know what Fatawu was playing at making the space for Wilf's underlapping runs which were a constant menace all game.

    Pre Match Leicester v Norwich

I'm wondering if I really want to get up before 7:30 to watch this one after spending over thirteen hours driving on Saturday through to Sunday.

    Maresca out

It's even warmer here in Florida. The whole season I think hinged on that match. Had the second goal not been erroneously disallowed we would have walked away from Elland Road 12 points ahead of second place. The there was the Daka miss...

For several years I've believed that the Premier League has been a disaster not just for football in this country but for football all over Europe.

    Leicester face questions about FFP

The Premier League is a microcosm of the world at large. Those at the very top getting richer and richer by wanting more and more of the pie, all the while underhandedly undermining the meritocracy they profess to support. It is a perfect example of the total lie of "trickle down" economics.

And would have been completely undone by Philogene's movement and pace. So the "foul" he gave against KDH in the corner had nothing to do with Hull getting possession of the ball that led to their second goal? I know that the defending could have been better for it but they should never have...

What are you watching on TV

I was living in Boreham Wood at the time and commuting into London by motorcycle, I can vividly remember convoys of busses carrying the police coming south on the A1 on a Friday evening as I rode home from work. It was kind of eerie. Thatcher's Britain, what wonderful place it was.
